Imax — Attraction in Columbus

The theater was clean. It was understaffed. Two people sold tickets and food at the same time and same place. No lines. Not many people there. Movie stopped during a storm. No one came in to tell us if it would resume or give us rain check passes. I went out and found out all theaters had stopped. I had a difficult time finding a staff member. Then that person didn't know information to give me. I found some one else and found out some of the theaters were able to resume their movies. But the one I was in they couldn't figure out how to get it up and running again. I ask if someone was going to come in and tell us. He said ,"no ". I went back and told everyone in theater number 5 all I had learned. We all went out. We asked a staff member who took tickets about a rain check pass. He sent us to some one else. We finally were offered either a rain check pass or a refund. We took the rain check pass and plan to go back next week to finish the movie. ...

My wife and I were out cruising. 50 year old both of us. Just driving around Thanksgiving night not much open we were enjoying each other's company.

She likes movie popcorn with a lot of butter. I asked if she wanted some not the movie just the 🍿 and drink my mistake

Popcorn and drink set the time it was good we cruised around Columbus, Ga no police stopping us no problems. Partially window shopping

Can't complain. Except the cost of popcorn and drink rediculous wish I had popped some corn and brought drink from the house that we had would have saved $15 dollars

But again to spend quality time with my wife it was worth it. But had to complain...

AMC 15 is my preferred theater in Columbus Georgia. New releases are typically introduced in the IMAX theater, located in the center of the building.

This chain was able to reopen during the covet pandemic on August 20, 2020. I've visited at least five times since they reopened.

It appears they did a great job meeting compliance with state and federal regulations to remain open for area moviegoers.

I'm highly anticipating the release of major productions / blockbusters and return to enjoy the IMAX experience in the theater, where the movies were...
