The framing department is HORRIBLE!!!! If I could give them negative stars, I would!!!! On February 3, 2024, I brought in a canvas photo that I wanted to have framed. My scheduled completion date was February 14, 2024. On February 10, 2024, I stopped by the store to see if it was ready, it wasn't. I understood that, as my receipt did give a completion date of February 14th. The sales associate who originally took my order, told me that he forgot to order my frame, and that it would be in on Friday, February 16, 2024. On Friday, February 16th, I returned back to the store to see if my frame had come in. This same associate, tells me that he will call me, once it arrives. This was at 12:30 pm. I found the demeanor of the associate, to be very galling and offensive, as he act as if I was getting on his nerves, by simply inquiring about a frame in which he PROMISED me, would be there on Friday! This is the same associate, who literally forgot to place my order when I first came in on February 3rd. I waited, and waited, on Friday, February 16th, until 7:30 pm, knowing that the store closes at 8:00 pm. I called the store, because they never call me! This same associate, now tells me that the truck broke down (which I didn't believe) and once again, my frame didn't arrive! He also interjected that they have no control of a truck breaking down; which is true, but as a professional, you do have control of picking up the telephone to let your customers know why there's a delay in service! This staff is the absolute worst, most unprofessional, unethical, human beings, I've ever dealt with! I don't know if these reviews are monitored and reviewed by senior management, but if they are, I am requesting a call from corporate, once this review is read! They need to know that they have staff members who blatantly lie to the customers and insult their intelligence! It's a horrible representation for...
Read moreI love the store's selection of jewelry making supplies and beads. And it seems that whoever owns hobby lobby studied how to appeal to the female mind more than any other store I've ever been in.
Be careful buying furniture from Hobby Lobby though. For example, I paid a reduced price for a broken garment rack. When I got home and begin to repair it, I realized that Hobby Lobby only inserted a metal pipe into a 90° connector piece by about an eighth to a quarter inch. It wasn't screwed in it was stuck on top of it and I guess glued.
By the time I bought enough JB Weld (epoxy in a tube) for metal repair and heavy duty duct tape, I had spent as much as if I had bought the item new. I have to be very gentle with it because it is still wobbly. I don't figure it has much more life in it so I'm going to build something else to replace it.
Since then I have examined the construction of the furniture pieces I was interested in. I have chosen to buy none of them after...
Read moreI always love going to Hobby Lobby. The selections are out of this world!! If you are decorating, crafting, framing, or looking for a perfect gift. Hobby Lobby is the place to go. The sales are amazing and the clearance is so good it makes me cry tears of joy!! Downside are the lines. The long, long, long lines. Fortunately, there is plenty to look at while you wait and the cashiers are always helpful to make sure you use your coupons and sale items to fullest discount possible. For that, I can forgive the lines. After all, they are giving that service to each individual. The staff on the floor is generally helpful. Rarely have I asked a question that they couldn't help with, or make suggestions. If you're into decorating your house, you could spend hours in this store just looking around. I might go today! Lol Downside: THEY ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS. These are just a couple of pictures I took of some drawer pulls I liked....
