This Ashley Home store associate is by far the best in the business of selling home furnishing.... Her name is 》ODREANA LIVINGSTON 《 Located at the Columbus Georgia Ashley Furniture store on Whittlesey Boulevard I don't about you but I know I was very intimidated by going to Ashley Furniture. I wanted to go to a small furniture store but I said no let's go see what Ashley has in store (pun intended) LOL Visit the store late May of 2021 and told the young lady that I would be back. today June 18th 2021 I came back I bought $2,000 worth of furniture this young lady help me save over $1,000 also got a free gift, great information & a five-year protection plan I' am super excited on my purchase at Ashley Furniture. May I say this young lady went above and beyond helping me with my furniture choices and it all worked out perfectly. I have my forever bed & mattress. I'm just super excited on the things that I purchased today, without her help and knowledge I would have gone with something cheaper and not built very well and would have probably been back to a furniture store within a year. I'd like to thank the people at Ashley Furniture for all the kind & friendly staff that they have working there. what I love about the kind & friendly staff is that they embrace you like you're a million dollars, although you may come in looking like you're only $5 they still treat you as if you were a millionaire... I know it took her by surprise that I said I want to pay Flatout for my purchase, although she worked hard getting me financed I still paid out of pocket I did not need the financing at all, but the financing is still there and available if I do need it, that is a great thing to have in in your pocket for the future. If you're in need of furniture or accessories please go and see this young lady again her name is ODREANA LIVINGSTON she's very beautiful, very smart & very helpful.. and I just love her curly hair... she's very professional she will help you in any way she can.. I feel all those Associates at Ashley would do the same.. The story: 7 weeks ago, I spent about an hour in the store, brought in photos of my living space, a drawing with dimensions, and a measuring tape to ensure I got the correct couch I wanted. The sales representative, while courteous, drew the diagram on their sheet correctly, but failed to write down the serial numbers for the correct configuration. The worker responsible for generating the order, inputted it incorrectly. Short of looking over their shoulders and knowing their job, I did everything I could to supervise this process. Four weeks later, they delivered the incorrect configuration. To save their delivery team labor, I agreed to keep the couch. I drove to the store and spoke with a manager, which produced the narrative above regarding how the error occurred. He agreed to give me a $100 gift card and get me rescheduled. The soonest was about 10 days later. Then, the company rescheduled on me 3 different times. On the fourth time, I was unable to get off work in time to receive delivery. I called and their delivery team explained they could hardly adjust their route. I explained all this to a worker at the store, and they told me I’d have to wait an additional several weeks to get the couch picked up and I wouldn’t get my $1000 back until the couch cleared their system - essentially holding my $1000 hostage for a couch I don’t want. Now I’m waiting an additional 8 days to get this couch picked up, and when they do, I’m back where I started with no couch and hours of wasted time with this company. Their manager, Alex, seemed quite content with this arrangement and made no effort to make things right. Read moreThis review is not about the local store or the sales person as both were outstanding. This review is however about the delivery process. We were told our new couch would be delivered on March 6, 2025 , and due to that we got rid of the old one to make room for the new one. The truck arrives and after about 10 minutes the driver informs us that the couch is not on the truck. He then called the delivery line, and we spoke with a CRS that informed us that it's the company error there was nothing that could be done to get the couch to us now any quicker than next week, as they do not have trucks on routes in this area till then. I asked as it was due to the company error that it can't be done sooner to which I was not "No". I then asked due to the inconvenience that the delivery fee be waived, to which I was told that it's non-refundable. I then suggest that the amount of the delivery fee be adjusted off the price of the couch, and I was told that there would not be a refund of any kind. The best they could do was offer a $75 in store card (cause I really want to shop there again). If you have high expectations with the sale people, then they will be met. If you have high expectations on delivery and customer service after the sale, then you are going to have to really lower the expectations to almost nothing because that is what you are going to get. This was our first time shopping at Ashley, and as of right now it will be our last. I would advise to shop anywhere else, or just take your chances that you get your stuff. FYI-I have talked with friends that have gone through the same thing dealing with Ashley delivery. Ashley do better, and remember service after the sale still matters if you want...
