6/8/2025 I believe that the good reviews are fake. this room is nasty! the sink faucet wabbles, the curtain is missing a couple hooks so its not hanging properly, I used a disinfectant wipe to wipe the door handles and it turned it brown, a man is in the parking lot blasting his radio and cooking in the parking lot like this is a campsite. there was an exoskeleton of a small roach on my bed. i stopped at two stores before coming here, every single person looked very ghetto, wearing pajamas at 6pm in public, hair dishevled just a very DiRTY vibe. i turned the AC on, because it wasn't already on in 80 degree weather, and I booked before arriving. It smelled like urine was coming from the AC unit. My sheets have cigarette burns. I better not get any bed bug bites or im suing. the towels are yellow and brown, not even white - might as well start using brown towels. the towels in the bathroom weren't even folded neatly. There was a urine stain on the toilet - it's like they didn't even try to clean this room. Also there was no extra toilet paper, only a small amount of toilet paper left on a roll, no ice bucket, no cups. Those reviews are totally fake, because any normal middle class or higher adult would find these rooms to be DIRTY - this is NOT a normal clean hotel room! the sheets smelled clean, the floor felt sticky (I did not walk around without shoes). This is the worst motel 6 I have ever used. I have used many in many different states, they are very good usually. The this table stand, there's a piece of wood ripped from it. I don't understand the $50.00 deposit, this rooms a disaster from the start ick. I made a video soon as I came in, not about to blame me for this nasty room - yuck. The window has a crack - there's so much damage to this room ! A noisey train passed by every single hour even into the night, who needs an alarm clock when the train will wake you right up! Room 106, the showerhead is nasty! black and stick! and you must hold it to shower!

positives , the gas station across the street, sunoco - i drive nearly 500 miles on 12 gallons of gas using that gas. its 2.85/gallon which is really nice. theres free coffee in the office. theres a microwave and fridge. i reccomend filming your room like i did before the try blaming you for the damage that already exist in here. i get that people, liklely drug addicts and nasty people did this to the rooms, but you need to repair it ! paint, and clean it ! absolutely no excuse for urine on the toilet! yuck!

This hotel deserves not one star!! Stay clear from this hotel as long as the young lady is working the front I think she's the wife she is a rude person & doesn't care about anyone unless money is being handed to her !! My brother asked to pay another night was told NO U HAVE CHECK OUT AND CHECK BACK IN FOR ANOTHER NIGHT! when the man came in he was polite and nice and said yes no problem the problem was the women was horribly rude my brother was at work asked to come pay for the room at lunch told him no be out at 11 and check back in kicked us out and the vending machine took my dollar I went to ask about it she told me why are you in the vending room!! Why are you still here u checked out at 11 Leave the premises NOW! & it was only 11:18am at the time & told me I wasn't getting the deposit because it was in my brother's name to have him come pick it back up like really!! I showed my ID & proof of him saying pick the deposit up too & wouldn't.. the rooms was not clean they literally spend 15 mins in the room making beds with the same sheets that someone used and taken the trash out but left spit and water splattered on the mirror sticky stuff all over the tables the night stands had dirt all in the cubby & cigarette ashes under the beds have dirt pieces of trash and tons of other stuff under it the floors turn your socks BLACK they don't even clean those the toilet was dirty as well.the sheets had stains and dirt in the bed along with the blankets i used my own including my own pillows because their pillows was very very thin & hard ...... I tried being nice because I needed to stay & cleaned it myself but I will not spend another dollar there as long as that women is working there the man needs to take her off the face of his business she's making him & the business look horrible!!! I spent well over 300+ & that's how you speak to someone & treat a paying customer that always paid on time or hours before check out & was quite & respectful through the whole episode.... SAVE YOUR MONEY & GO ELSEWHERE sorry to the nice gentleman that was very polite & let us pay for another night without issues but sir you need to fire that women & get someone that's really nice even if the person isn't handing her money & understanding like you... if there's a issue she's horrible but handing her money she's nice & that's not right!!.how was the hotel experience all together ?? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THAT WOMEN IS HORRIBLE! loud from the train right behind it never again!!!...

Ok so here we go! I was in Columbus for several days on business so I thought I'd lowball it on my budget while I was there. I usually stay at the MOtel6 with my dog, who always travels with me, on Olentangy River road not far from campus. read the reviews & decided I'd try this place. It's cheap & near a lot of things I needed. While I saw no bugs & the rooms are a bit older with no amenities the rooms were clean. That's the only good I could say. From the time of check in with the rude woman, until the time I left with probably her husband who asked me why I was standing there, because I need a receipt, this place sucks!!!!!!!! The first night there everyone was partying & getting high & then the fire alarm went off at 7 in the morning, no fire or anything but no one could figure out how to shut it off. The grounds are dirty and littered with used condoms, and homeless nest, places where the homeless sleep. I got up early to walk my dog one day & there was a girl turning a trick in the parking lot next door. Just finishing up. Hookers come & go all hours of the night & no, they're not the hookers you see in movies, they're nasty skanks riddled with diseases. There are hookers & crack/meth heads hanging out here. how do I know? I saw it. I was solicited by a toothless hag. I saw a bloody maxi pad left on the stairs, I wasn't touching it, it was there for several days until I left along with beer cans and empty condom boxes. My dogs poop was the only thing that classed the grounds up. There is food laying around on the grounds, broken glass in the parking lot, litter everywhere. This place is disgusting, I'd love to give it 0 stars. I actually took lots of pictures of stuff and sent it to Motel 6 headquarters in Texas. The wifi is awful, and it's an open connection which means it's very easily hackable! The tv was bad reception & you only get about 15 channels. One morning I was awoken at 4:30 am by a bunch of drunken, high partiers having what sounded like an orgy. This place is repulsive. It's a dump and motel 6 should be ashamed to have their good name...
