Wednesday, 1/28/15 @ ~12:10pm: First, I asked the guy soaping the front driver's side of the car and the windshield to not clear off the soap. He cleared the soap as I was saying 'No' multiple times. I asked him to soap it up again explaining I wanted to use the wipers -- he just walked away as I was talking! The older guy soaping the passenger side did not bother to see what was going on. As I pulled into the wash the younger guy pointed to the sign, mumble a few things and walked away; I asked him if he spoke English (edit: I did not ask this in sarcasm, just something about him made me wonder) he said 'No' and walked away again. The older guy was near him and I asked both of them if they understood 'Rude.' The older guy told the younger guy to work on the cop car (behind me) and the younger guy moved off -- obviously understanding English. The older guy (60's?) opened a door inside the wash, went in and closed the door.
Not once did I yell, but I know towards the end I sounded frustrated. I DO NOT NEED TO PAY MONEY TO BE TREATED RUDELY OR WITH SO LITTLE CARE. Before today I had no problems with the guys that worked there, though most did not seem to "see" the drivers, they were usually caught up in their own conversations... , but they still an adequate job.
On top of it all, only the driver's side of the car was rinsed! The passenger side had no rinse water running at the same time as the driver's side -- nor before or after the driver's side rinse.
We had planned to do an initial wash, then drive back around and do the comprehensive wash right after the initial wash. I wanted to clean all the gunk offl, then protect the car from further bad weather by getting the second wash with all the extras. Instead I went to Grandview (where I live), got a better wash with all the extras and they did the vacuuming and interior for just a few more dollars -- it was well worth it.
I use 2 other drive-through car washes (and the one I mentioned above) so I will not return to the West Braod Street Goo Goo. The 2 guys today were uncaring and rude. So sad Goo Goo is forced to pay for...

âIâm going to attach my receipt so I can get a refund. This is my first time coming to this location since goo goo car wash was closed. I got a $20.00 car wash a long with the membership. (And let me preface that no one comes to just get a car wash, they come for the vacuums too. Thatâs why we pay the amount we do, to get the completed cleaning)
After the car wash I went to vacuum and the first vacuum was not suctioning at all, so I wasted my time, got in the car and went to another one. That other one had the same thing. Then another one, same thing.
There are plenty of spots BUT the other ones had missing hoses or it still didnât suction properly. I went to one that finally had good suction and it still didnât suction enough to pull out all the debris, not in the way the goo goo car wash did.
I went to a last one, beside one that didnât have a hose and it still didnât have enough suction. The person beside me had to leave because it didnât have a hose. Iâm assuming that the rest of the people were using the âgoodâ ones. The other spots left I couldnât go into because the other customers were using the opposite hose OR their doors were open on both sides preventing me from entering.
I wasted over 30 minutes. Pull the cameras if youâd like and look at my receipt. This was the worse car wash experience. Itâs only $20 bucks but it represents my time wasted and the awful frustration I had as I drove around like crazy looking for a working vacuum.
When I went to cancel the membership they gave me this email and said they couldnât refund me. The workers were really polite and none of this is...
Read moreI went through the car wash system, and when I came out to vacuum my car I noticed that my right passenger side mirror was knocked off. I didn't flip out, I just asked the worker if he had a screw to insert back into the area where the screw apparently held the mirror onto the door, just so that I could be on my way and still able to use the mirror while driving, he proceeded to go into the office and come out with paperwork for a claim. The worker took pictures of the mirror as I filled out the paperwork and he explained that someone from corporate would call me in a few days. I continued on with vacuuming my car out when he returned to tell me that corporate called and explained that they watched the video recording of when I was approaching/going through the wash and my mirror was loose and I shouldn't have gone through with the mirror loose! What?? This was completely incorrect, my mirror was attached just fine, after the wash, the mirror actually was cracked and broken on the part that the screw was forcefully knocked out of..clearly it was knocked off by the force of the wash, otherwise it wouldn't have cracked and if it was loose, the screw would have just gave and came out. At any rate I think that was very unprofessional of the Corporate office and if anything I should have at least gotten my wash for free if not a few other washes. I asked the worker to have Corporate give me a call, which they never actually did. I guess customers aren't really appreciated when they support their business, I will wash my car using another method...
