The Cheese Steak Shop — Restaurant in Concord

Went in to get a sandwich....it's been super simple and still was. When I got there I was the only customer in there,granted they had orders they were filling like always. I was in no hurry and we took our time ordering . I've been getting sandwiches from this establishment since it opened , Flawlessly I might add I love this place/did love it. The cashier I've dealt with before and she was as usual a delight . and still is . Top notch 👌. I waited for a good 20min.easy before I went back in and waited I don't know how long. I get my order leave for some reason I stopped almost home which is on the opposite side of town. They gave me someone else's stuff simple as that. They asked what I ordered I told her and gave her my receipt. She begins to argue with me about what it is and called mind you it isn't even my order I can give a dam. Over and over she keeps having me explain my shelf. Never ever looking or making another or any thing just created an episode in the restaurant I was totally humiliated and demanded my money back at which Every employee in the establishment started threatening me screaming at me to leave not even giving me my money. Threatening me like I'm a convict. Any way got my money, still hungry came next store to Barney's Hickory Pit . Spent twice as much and I am righting this while...

2019 edit: WHERE'S THE CHEESE??? Been here a couple times recently, left really disappointed every time. They have redesigned shop, it's considerably more expensive, to make it no longer affordable for lunch meal, but also quality has gone downhill a lot unfortunately, less meat, less cheese, I order extra cheese and pay the $$ but sometimes it feels like I actually got less cheese than not paying for extra, or almost none at all. New unfriendly and unhelpful staff, changed their rewards system to make more complicated and less user friendly, I havent gotten points last 2 trip as they wont tell you to put in rewards number before paying(and it doesnt prompt you before paying), and 2nd time it wasnt working and they said they would add it later but never did. I dont go anymore to eat, and my friends dont either, SO CANT RECOMMEND ANYMORE UNLESS YOU WANT A BAD OVERPRICED SANDWICH.

I used to love this place. The last few times have been ok, but nothing special. Today was my last time. I won’t be back. I ordered thru Door Dash, 2 large, 1 with extra cheese and both with sweet peppers. One had 6 slices of pepper and the other 8. Not even enough to taste. The extra cheese had one very small piece of cheese, about the size of a quarter on one end of the bread! The meat was so dry I could barely swallow it. I added 2 slices of provolone, melted on the top, and it was edible. The one with regular cheese had a little cheese but same dried out meat. These things used to be so tasty, lots of peppers and melted gooey cheese throughout. After tax and tip I wasted $37.
