Newhall Community Park — Attraction in Concord

This is a nice place to take a walk with your dog, child or alone. There's a path all the way around the pond that is a nice walk. Too many geese in my opinion, but what do ya do! My only complaint is that the bathrooms are way far on the other side of the park, if your not familiar with the park, you will not know where the bathroom is. They were FILTY when I went, I would not take my child in there to use the restroom the way it was. I hope that they fixed that issue and its cleaner. Again, the only bathroom is at the end of the park by where the kids practice soccer and near the kids play area, so if you are down near the pond or dog park, the bathrooms are pretty far. This is a huge park and perfect for such type of events like X country which I witnessed today. Park is full of young kids showing their energy, potentials. Kids cheering up their colleagues, motivating them to do better an win.

Nice little park with ponds and a small creek. Quiet most of the time. Plenty of parking on both sides. Has fenced in dog parks and outside fields where dogs can run their little hearts out! 🐕 Most dogs wander happily off-lead with their guardians with no incident but you still get the griping holier than thou nags spewing off about off-lead dogs or- god forbid- barking!
