Read moreI was feeling like Thai food since I haven't had it in a while. I looked up Thai restaurants that were close by since I didn't feel like driving all the way to Pleasant Hill to my usual Thai place. This one had the simple items that I wanted compared to the Thai restaurant across the street. I scanned the menu for a go to.
I have a couple of things that I order when I get Thai food and I thought the simplest is ordering Pad See Ew. I ordered it and had chicken as the meat. I tried it and thought it was good. The chicken was a bit dry so next time I think I'll get beef. Noodles were good and the vegetables are good.
The pot stickers had a mustard flavor and that was a little strange. I didn't expect it to be sauced up. I guess I'm used to Chinese pot stickers pan fried.
Overall, I think I would come back and order something else. Maybe try a curry...

Twenty dollars later my mouth is full of red curry, and I regret it. The tofu tastes like it was marinated in soy sauce and deep fried! Weird salty curry and stale rice...or maybe it was freezer burned rice...? Anyway it crumbled. There was one small green pepper chunk, two chunks of rubbery, very undercooked eggplant, and about 100 soggy bamboo slices. Pretty heartbreaking for a twenty dollar meal cooked by professionals.
