Oh my Google reviewers, you completely misled me. Based on your score of 4.6 stars, I decided to give this place a shot before a concert at Concord Pavilion. And I have to say, I don’t get it. We walked in and there was one table seated and two people at the bar. All patio tables and other tables were empty. The host took us to the furthest table at the back of the restaurant, tucked behind a wall. I’m assuming this was because we didn’t have a reservation - not quite sure why we had to be hidden in the back. The host had terrible body odor, you can imagine my disappointment when he turned out to be our server as well and we had to endure bad b.o. every time he came by. The drinks and food were very reasonably priced, I love a good neighborhood restaurant with realistic price points. Menu has a good variety of cocktails, appetizers, and pasta options. We started with the olive pesto dip, which is their most popular appetizer. It’s described as mediterranean mixed olives with candied walnuts, pesto, honey balsamic and olive oil. Ours had no walnuts, minimal balsamic, and what seemed like feta cheese. Not sure. But it was just kind of a bland oily dip for the stale bread. For our entrees we ordered the ravioli and the carbonara. My ravioli was okay, the sauce was a weird brown color though which could be a little unappetizing visually. My spouse had the carbonara and it was bland. We had to ask for salt and pepper to try and season it. To make everything a little worse, the fresh flowers at our table had quite a bit of fruit flys which kept interrupting our meal. Once the food was delivered, nobody really came back to check on us. There wasn’t an opportunity to order more drinks, we were offered dessert by a different employee later in the visit, but once the restaurant started to fill up, we were kinda forgotten about in the back. I don’t know guys, I think you got...
Read moreI have been to this restaurant before and the food is pretty good. Prior to today, I would've come back for another meal. However, today changed my opinion of the service this restaurant gives to guests and potential guests. Hours of operation according to google are 11:00 am-8:30 pm. If this is incorrect, it should be corrected. I went there today when it was supposedly open around 4:00pm to purchase a gift certificate for my boss. It was closed and said it would be open at 5pm. I went home and came back a few minutes after 5pm and it was open. I went inside and told the waiter that I wanted to purchase a gift certificate. I was told that the owner was not there but would be returning in 30 minutes. I said that I would wait as I didn't want to make a third trip to the restaurant. I waited nearly 45 minutes. During my wait, not one time did the waiter or any wait staff ask if I wanted a glass of water or to give me updates on when the owner returned. I left very unhappy. If this is the service that this restaurant provides to its customers or potential customers, then I just won't be...
Read moreI don’t know about the food but I’m a doordash delivery driver and I came to pick up 2 orders, I was being helped by a nice and attentive petite blonde woman who was checking the orders to be sure they had everything in bag. And up comes a rude waiter who doesn’t even say excuse me and just brushes right past me nearly knocking me over! hovering over her as if she’s a kid and asking me if the orders names were right,( Stephen and Sun Youug) about 5/6ish pm it was ) I responded yes and he goes to tell me that the girl is new and he needs to check to be sure she’s getting it right, I explained to him SHES DOIN HER JOB RIGHT, HOW HARD IS IT TO READ A NAME AND CHECK ITEMS? SHE CLEARLY HAS IT UNDER CONTROL. I hope management sees this and knows who I’m talking about. Eastern Indian guy clearly no manners and thinks he knows it all. Yeah he needs to be put on dish duty since...
