Everything about this gym itself is the best! I wouldn't go anywhere else... CON's: Except... This gym runs on complete total auto pilot. Even Gold's Gym will stop people from dropping and throwing weights over the PA system if need be. I had a guy drop so much weight a while back that it knocked over my water bottle for 30 feet away. Even the cable weights get slammed down... CABLE WEIGHTS! Its the only gym I have ever been in that doesn't even have signs on the wirror to not drop the weights. Some guy the a few weeks back started pacing the floor, looking at everyone, threw his hat at the mirror, did a set and then tossed the weight and a trainer was 3 feet away. The trainers will not speak to you unless you or getting a training session so don't look to them to do anything. The all appear to be nice but they don't speak or look out for the gym at all. People will have loud conversations on phones and not a word is said. I am all for a workout but come on. The teens can be an issue at times because they come in in packs and wonder the floor without a clue.
PRO's On the upside all that doesn't happen 24/7 and for the most part the people are all great and its an upscale gym for sure. The place is huge pool with anything you could ever want to use. The classes are free and they have a lot of them. The new locker rooms are a dream and they keep them very clean. The front desk staff are all very good. The hours are great for getting in and you can find a lot of times that the weight tossing crowd is gone and not teens packs. You will love the gym for sure and at the price its WELL worth it.
This gym would be perfect if they would just stop people from literally trowing the weights. Better than any other gym...
Read moreI really wish. There were more yoga and zumba classes in the evening, as I go to the gym right after work. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable. There are always fresh towels if you forget to bring one, Facilities are always incredibly clean, and everyone's incredibly respectful of the equipment and others around them. The instructors are very patient and kind, I took advantage of a military discount for my monthly membership, They just offer too many great benefits. For someone not to sign up would be crazy. I took a tour, and that was it for me. They say first impressions are everything, and the staff impressed me enough to join my first gym. The women's locker room and the men's have a steam room and a sauna and showers, plenty of lockers and bathroom stalls always clean. They also have shampoo and conditioner if you need hand soap and lotion and blow dryers! There is indeed a spa within. However, you really need to put in 2 weeks in advance to be able to get anything done there, unfortunately. More than likely, because there's not enough spa staff. The spa is not included in your monthly membership. However, I believe you two get a discount if you have a membership to the gym.
There are staff within the gym as well. ,. If you need assistance with using the equipment or guided stretching in the stretch area. There are plenty of treadmills on both sides for everybody, definitely plenty of weight lifting equipment, and a great selection of classes throughout the week for everyone, especially if you have a flexible schedule. I really haven't had a bad experience at all since joining. There is literally no downside. Advant help as officially set my...
Read moreRecommended: an all-in-one gym with a pool and spa. Pros: not overcrowded, plenty of exercise machines with no queues, great group classes, sanitizing stations with towels, lotions, and all the hygiene essentials, as well as a parking garage. Friendly staff - a shout-out to Shibani and Kevin at the front desk; they, along with others, are always so helpful. I do wish they had a stool bar to sit on, similar to the chairs at the main entrance's reception. Cons: While the gym has many positive aspects, there are areas that could use improvement. The men's dry sauna works for a week, and then it remains broken for a month while waiting for the heating element. They claim it's due to people pouring water on the heater, but they fail to put up a sign about not pouring liquids; there are only signs about overheating above the heater. The overall cleanliness is not as good as it could be considering the location and price, particularly in the wet zone and ventilation areas, which definitely need more attention. They read Christian prayers on the speakers, which is kind of weird to hear in a gym instead of a church. I imagine it's also uncomfortable for atheists and people of other religions. They sometimes close the pool when it's cloudy, even without a single thunderstorm. The presence of large people's duffle bags scattered around the gym looks dangerous in our times. Overall, it is a well-maintained, beautiful place, and I am grateful to the team working...
