Panera Bread — Restaurant in Kissimmee

This is more a review of the decline of Panera Bread, the company. This was my first time at this location, and there was nothing special about it. In fact, it was an unsurprising disappointment. My boss and I work down the street, in Celebration, and went for a quick lunch. This was her choice, not mine. I would never choose Panera again after watching their prices rise and their service & food decline, and skimpy portions over the last years. Nevertheless, I said ok and went with her choice. I was not shocked at the ridiculousness of what we received. First off, service was nothing to talk about... literally non-existent. They barely communicate with you, other than yelling out your name when your puny order comes up. My boss' soup was watery and flavorless. She said it tasted like water and a lot of sugar. Sugar. And just look at the sloppy presentation, of the bowl, in the picture. Her sandwich was ok. And she never touched the baguette, so I'm unable to comment on that. Let's get to my smoothie. Just look at the size of it, from the pictures. It's like a kid-sized cup. Beyond ridiculous, it's laughable. $7.30 for that. Over SEVEN DOLLARS. And, I mean... MAYYYYBE I could handle it if it were fresh ingredients. It's not. It's a bunch of juices. So, all that to say... "I told you so" to my boss. And I would never return to Panera. If you're looking for a quick bite then this place is a solid choice. If you're expecting quality Panera options, I wouldn't waste your time.

This location consistently drops the ball on quality and preparation of your order.

This visit I got the grilled Mac & Cheese with chicken noodle soup. Love dipping the baguette so I requested 2 extra (which I paid for). When the food came up there was only the 1 baguette and it seemed like nicely trying to explain I needed 2 more since I was charged for them was the worst part of the employee's day. They reluctantly gave me my bread and sent me on my way.

The sandwich was toasted on one side and mushy on the other. The inside of it was completely cold. It was my first time having it, but I have to assume mac and cheese should be hot. The chicken noodle soup was Luke warm and my spoon was covered in whatever some previous customer had eaten with it 🤮

My boyfriend's spoon was the same way so, it wasn't just a fluke. Pretty disappointing.

We didn't even bother to try and get new ones due to how rude everyone was regarding the baguette.

We also wanted to grab some butter but there wasn't any left at the drink area, when we asked someone about getting some they let out an audible sigh and said sure.

It's not the first bad experience we've had here. I'm not sure if the management has no idea what they're doing or the employees are just collectively miserable but it's not worth paying panera prices for. There are plenty of other options...

On January 20th, I visited my local Panera location in celebration to pick up my salads. While eating, I nearly choked on a small toy in my salad. I broke a piece of my tooth and immediately contacted Panera through their app. Despite my prompt response, I received no answer and sent several follow-up emails without any reply. It’s been 24 days, and I still haven’t heard from them.

I’ve never complained about Panera’s salads before, even when they’ve gotten smaller or missing ingredients. However, I was contacted by their liability insurance company. They stated that they couldn’t prove the entire situation, which is understandable. However, they also claimed that Panera had tried to contact me multiple times to resolve the issue, but this was a lie. I never received any emails or calls from Panera. As of today I paid for something that I wasn’t able to eat but also that harmed me.

This incident not only raises concerns about the safety of their food but also highlights their poor customer service. Looking at their reviews, it’s evident that their location is unclean, and they provide inadequate customer service. This is enough evidence to discourage me or others from visiting this Panera location or, in fact, from going to...
