This was by far the worst golf experience of my life thanks to Kathy in the pro shop and Erigo the starter. I had booked a 7:33am tee time online and had arrived at about 7:30. I understand that this is improper etiquette so I attempted to call the course around 7:15am to let them know I would be arriving minutes before teeing off... no answer. Upon walking into the pro shop I told Kathy the attendant that I was there for my 7:33 tee time she informed me that I was late for my 7:24 tee time and that I needed to pay an additional $2 for environmental fee. Seemed like a bs late fee because I was told on my golf booking app that there would be no additional charge outside of the greens and cart fee oh and might I mention the course apparently moved up my tee time without a call or email. Reluctantly I paid the additional fee and proceeded to my cart. The cart guys were exceptional 5stars hands down. Proceeded to the starter who was giving a group about to tee off his speech. After he was finished I gave him my information and he also informed that I was late. I tried to explain that I was to tee off at 7:33 but he just informed me I was wrong and needed to catch up with the group in front of me. Again no call no email and my tee time was moved. I let it roll off my back and I proceeded to the tee where I could see my group in the fairway, I was about to tee the ball up hit and catch them when Erigo rolled up on his cart with a foursome to inform me I was not allowed to tee off because I was late and I needed to go play with the group ahead of me. I looked at him and said sir I am not late I am right on time and I am trying to tee off I can show you my tee time that I booked. He said you can’t you were late. I said excuse me I am not late this is absolute BULL S@! So he called the manager and stated that I was aggressive and not a gentleman. I’m sorry but after the way I was treated by him and the woman in the pro shop he was in no way shape or for in the right to disrespect me like that when I attempted to contact the course and notify then of a last minute arrival for a tee time. The manager Brandon who was a good guy and gave me a refund...
Read moreI would rate this place a zero for their lack of customer service if I could. I played there this past Wednesday 6/28. In order to make a long story shorter, I will say our group was hit into multiple times. I was even hit with a golf ball walking off the green. Nobody in our group said anything to the group behind us because I understand accidents happen. Fast forward to a few holes later, we were “approached” by the group behind us for “slow play.” Mind you, we were waiting for the group in front of us to clear the fairway. While waiting on the tee box, the group behind us approached us and started cussing us out; even calling us liars for letting them know we were hit with a golf ball. They were adamant they didn’t until I showed them the visible bruise from being hit (see picture below). A member of the other party was probably drunk and inevitably decided to throw a punch at a member in my group. I did my best to separate & diffuse this incident. After everyone was separated, we carried on with our round. When we finished our round and pulled up to drop the cart off I promptly told the GM Ryan Tamanini that we wanted him to call the cops to report the incident since a member in our group was assaulted by the group behind us. He declined to call at first, probably because he didn’t want the embarrassing site of law enforcement showing up to the golf course. After I insisted for him to call he asked myself and the rest of the group to leave (mind you I had done nothing wrong and only did my best to diffuse the situation). As I started to pull my phone out to call the authorities the GM finally obliged and decided to call law enforcement… We were originally told we would be receiving a refund but it’s been almost a week later and I have not received a refund… This is one of my favorite courses in the area but I will not be playing this course again due to how we were treated by the group behind us and the management staff. After having some time to reflect, it is obvious why people continuously complain about the staff at this course. It stems from the...

Our experience at Celebration was fantastic. We were one of the first tee times, 7:00 AM on a Saturday morning. The starter was polite and helpful. As a nice bonus, there were several hot air balloons taking off nearby, making for an awesome backdrop on the first tee shot of the day.
The course was in very good condition. Very green and lush. I would give the fairways an A and the greens a B. There were a couple greens with some rough spots under repair (10th green as I recall), but they did their best to keep the pins away from those areas.
We saw the ranger multiple times, and he was keeping a slower group ahead of us moving as best he could.
The layout is very fun. If I were to make a recommendation, it would be to have a set of tees somewhere between the silver tees and the gold tees. The silver tees were too short, and the gold might be just a bit too long for a large range of golfers. Something in the 6200-6300 range would be nice. Even so, the layout was very fun and challenging, without being too quirky. Golfers of all skill levels can enjoy this course.
I did not get a chance to use the driving range, but it appeared well kept and even fun, with lots of target greens floating in a lake. There were multiple putting greens and short game areas as well.
There was an attentive cart girl, and numerous comfort stations throughout the course. When we finished, there was a nice buzz of energy around the clubhouse and bar area, and the restaurant was pretty good.
All in all, this course was a great time. I was happy, as I had convinced a group of friends to play there, and all of them were...
