We ate here today on January 28, 2022. I hope to keep anyone from wasting their time and money on one of the worst Asian/Chinese meals they may ever get if they go to this restaurant, so this is a review w/ details.
I realize in the description it says Pan-Asian cuisine, and in it's name there's the word "Asian" used, but it also does state "Chinese Restaurant" as in what type of restaurant, so let me just say as a family who's favorite take-out food is Chinese food, this was the WORST Chinese/Asian meal we've ever TRIED to eat.
First, upon ordering they give instructions to follow for when you pick up your meal. Directions were followed, but still after 10 minutes of no one coming out to wait on us, my husband had to go inside to pick up the food which was already sitting there ready. We had hot bags though, so the food was hot by the time we sat down to eat it, so that wasn't the problem with this meal.
Our order: 2 Sweet & Sour Chicken meals, 1 w/ white rice & 1 w/ noodles, 1 General Tao's chicken w/ brown rice, 2 veggie spring rolls, and an order of 6 Crab Wontons. The veggie spring rolls tasted funny, mushy inside and shrimpy tasting, so in the garbage they went. The Crab Wontons were burnt! Inside was suppose to have crab, cream cheese, red pepper, & scallions per their description. I have never received Crab wontons from anywhere that were so dry. I don't think it had any cream cheese, nor did we taste any of the other flavors in their description, but even if it did have those ingredients, the crab was gross. It looked like it came out of a can w/ same texture as canned tuna and it tasted so bad, so in the trash it went too.
My son ordered the General Tso's Chicken which just tasted like red peppers. Not tasty at all, so in the trash it went.
My husband's got the sweet & sour chicken with noodles which at an Asian /Chinese restaurant you'd probably expect some type of chow mein or lo mein or maybe ramon noodles. (I had same thing but w/ white rice which as white rice goes, it was fine, nothing great, a little hard) Well, whatever these noodles were they were gross with no seasoning or sauce, like having plain spaghetti noodles, pretty gross and blah. The sweet & sour chicken was disgusting. Here's description from their menu... " Tempura-battered white meat chicken, ginger, red bell peppers, onions and pineapple. Tossed in our classic sweet and sour sauce." I LOVE tempura battered anything! I think they used the wrong words to describe what type of batter they use. If anything it was closer to soggy panko breading in texture and taste. Then the sweet & sour sauce was like water & even worse tasted like mustard of all things. We didn't taste any ginger or the usual flavors in such a dish. The pineapple even tasted funky, not like pineapple. The main thing you taste is mustard... so in the trash it all went after 2 or 3 bites... $46.00 down the drain. We decided frozen pizza would taste better than what we were given. Never again. I'd rather go to Panda Express or even eat the Sweet N' Sour chicken frozen meal by Marie Calendar's or even Stouffer's. Save yourself the money and go to...
Read moreEvery single time I go here it gets worse and i get more sick than the previous time. I really don't think this location understands how to handle food. The quality is always poor. The sushi is rock solid. You ask for mildly spicy and they give you volcanic eruption. They host events there that get quite loud and irritating at times. It feels like an asian food chuck e cheeses or cicis pizza. I don't know why pf changs has this place. I have their point system and I've racked up points and use their coupons weekly. After my last visit, i decided that it warranted a stern review and a discontinuance of my patronage. There is a major problem (an epidemic) going on right now in our country in regards to inadequate business management and attention to detail. This place is heading in the same direction as steak n shake. Coupons are a must for pricing because otherwise clients don't find the value for the product quality to be right. Then, it brings in particular demographics that are less concerned with food quality and service. They will hire less competent staff and people will leave to go to nicer areas with nicer infrastructure. There you now have your gentrification through demand in better quality. These things are cause and effect. Ask chic-fil-a. They know what's going on. I do want to add, that as we were displeased with both service and quality on our last visit, we heard loud murmuring from other tables with similar concerns. So much so, the manager was making rounds doing damage control. There were food swaps happening in the same fashion that we had ourselves. To top off the visit, the room was at a numbing 64-66ºF. There is nowhere to escape the vents. Some better diffusers would do wonders. I would also suggest service a thai milk/tea (chai yen) option to accompany the spicy food. All they have was tea and a coke freestyle machine (beer and wine...
Read moreMore of a 3 1/2 star rating. An easy location to get to in the Celebration area. Parking is a little tight, but normally enough people coming and going to get a spot. A fairly clean location. The only item I noticed was overflowing trash bins. This location was busy, but not enough so that customers could not put their trash in the garbage can. Upon leaving there was an employee beginning to empty an overflowing trash bin. Would like to think this would have been taken care of earlier when all bins were mostly full and customers were placing trash in other locations or looking for another trash bin. Also, a member of the party told me they had to ask to have the table cleaned before we sat down, but I was still in line. There were five individuals in our party and we decided to get the family bundle, spring rolls, egg rolls and some soups. Plenty of food to feed everyone. We were all quite pleased with the food. I really can't say that the food was better than some of the family owned Asian restaurants that I go to, but again it was quite adequate. They provide plenty of condiments as well if you like a general seasoning, soy sauce or additional spice. This was the first time I've ever been to this restaurant. Would I go again? Only if other individuals said that's where they would like to go. The family-owned restaurants are just...
