My recent visit to AMC Cartersville left me utterly disappointed, and I regret spending a single dime on this supposed entertainment venue. From the beginning, it was clear that this theater is a far cry from the quality one would expect from a chain like AMC. To start, the ticket prices were exorbitant, making me question whether I accidentally stumbled into a luxury theater. Unfortunately, the amenities didn't match the price tag. The seats were worn out and uncomfortable, making the entire viewing experience more of a physical trial than an enjoyable escape into cinema. The staff seemed to be operating on autopilot, lacking any semblance of customer service. Attempts to ask questions or seek assistance were met with blank stares or dismissive responses. It's disheartening to witness such a lack of enthusiasm from the people who should be facilitating a pleasant movie-going experience. Once the movie began, it was evident that the audio-visual quality was subpar. The sound was muffled, and the picture quality left much to be desired. It's astonishing that a theater under the AMC brand would allow such technical deficiencies, especially considering the ticket prices. The concession stand at AMC Cartersville was another letdown. The prices were inflated, and the food quality was abysmal. The popcorn tasted stale, the soda was watered down, and the overall selection lacked variety. It's disheartening to see a lack of effort in maintaining a decent menu for patrons. Lastly, the cleanliness of the theater was substandard. From sticky floors to uncleaned restrooms, it was apparent that hygiene is not a priority for AMC Cartersville. The overall atmosphere was more akin to a neglected movie house from a bygone era rather than a modern AMC establishment. In conclusion, my experience at AMC Cartersville was nothing short of a cinematic disaster. For the prices charged, one would expect a much higher standard of quality and service. Save your money and choose a theater that values its patrons and maintains basic standards of comfort and cleanliness. AMC Cartersville falls short on...
Read moreWent to see After Death, it was a pretty good movie/documentary. Once we got to actually watch it. As s as movie previews started about 10 teens sneaked in and decided to party up in the back of the theater behind us. There was only my aunt and myself and another man and woman in there to watch the movie which was really nice until the teens came in. They were running and jumping down the isles, jumping over the rails continuously. Finally had enough and my aunt went to get a manager. As soon as she walked out the door, the teens started running out. A good bit lighter. My aunt returned with the manager, and the kids were gone of course. She said that they did not have tickets that only the four was sold to us. She said that she would watch for them. A few minutes lighter one teen male came back in and was just walking around behind us. Maybe he forgot some thing. The manager did tell us after the movie to come see her and she would give us free tickets for another movie. When the movie was over we did so and she gave us the free tickets and said she had to call the police on them. They were all head in the restroom and they all went outside and appeared to be fighting but the manager said they told her they were just playing. But she had to call the police to get them to leave. Manager was very friendly and we really appreciate the replacement tickets. Theater was great, clean, great popcorn is always lol. But the experience was a little scary AMC theaters and Cartersville definitely needs security if 10 teenagers can slip in what else could happen. This post is not putting down the theater by no means. No one’s fault there other than there needs to...
Read moreMy recent visit to this movie theater left me utterly disappointed. Despite our parents having purchased tickets for an R-rated movie, the staff decided to kick us out, completely ruining our planned night out. What's more frustrating is that the people upfront were aware of our movie choice, yet they failed to communicate any issues until we were already seated.
The lack of professionalism and customer service exhibited by the theater staff was appalling. Instead of addressing the situation with empathy or providing a solution, we were unceremoniously removed from the theater. This experience not only left a sour taste in our mouths but also made us question the competence and courtesy of the establishment.
As patrons who had followed all the necessary procedures by having our parents buy the tickets, we expected a basic level of understanding and cooperation. Unfortunately, this theater failed to meet even those minimal expectations. The communication breakdown between the staff and patrons was inexcusable and significantly marred what should have been an enjoyable evening.
In the future, I hope this theater reevaluates its policies and prioritizes effective communication and customer satisfaction. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a pleasant and hassle-free...
