City Wings Restaurante — Restaurant in Cartersville

This place is absolutely ridiculous! I called to place a delivery order for my husband who is a truck driver. The girl who answered the phone said they would deliver to the truck stop. I gave her all the details including a description of the truck, the truck number, and my husband's phone number for any issues. The girl took my order and told me it would be about an hour. An hour goes by and my husband calls and says he hasn't seen or heard from the place. I gave the restaurant the benefit of a doubt and waited until it had been an hour and a half before I called them. I explained to the girl who answered what was going on and she just handed the phone off to someone else. I explained to that girl what was going on. She said, "He hasn't gotten it yet?" I said, "no". She told me to hold on just to be handed off to yet another girl. Once again, I explained what was going on. Come to find out, the lady said the driver brought it back because they called the number I gave them and the person on the phone said they didnt order it. I asked what number did you call? Apparently the driver switched the last two numbers and called the wrong person. Then, I was told they could still go deliver it. I mentioned that it would be cold and was told it would not be cold. Then to top it all off, I hear the driver (maybe a girl named Tina) going on about how she doesn't deliver to trucks or hotels anyway. Confused, I asked why would they tell me they would deliver if the girl was scared? Then the driver said my husband would have to walk around to the front of the truck stop for her to deliver it. Being very heated, I told them just cancel the order and that they were ridiculous! I can not comment on the food or the cleanliness of this restaurant, but as far as service goes they deserve less than 1 star, but it...

I will never eat at City Wings again and we go often. Two men came into the restaurant, they were truck drivers to deliver City Wings their food. Well they came in and told the people at the counter that they couldn’t make the turn on the corner because a vehicle was blocking it. Our waitress proceeds to yell at them get loud in the restaurant being very disrespectful to these two men. Making a scene not once did they get loud with her or anything they were very polite. So my daughter and I finished our food my daughter paid and left the lady a tip. I wrote her a note on the other receipt and said just wanted to let you know how you treated those two men was very unprofessional. That was very uncalled for. I went to leave My daughter and I looked for the two men so we could give them money for lunch on us for having to deal with someone like that. The lady comes out and said excuse me what two men are you talking about I said the two truck drivers her exact words were “they’re just our food delivery people.” I said okay and they are humans they don’t need to be talked to that way. They are here to do a job if my car was blocking them I would have went and moved it they have a job just like you and I. She offered the $5.82 tip back I said no you can keep it my daughter paid. If I would’ve paid you wouldn’t have gotten anything. I don’t want my 18 year old to even witness someone talking to another human being like that. Very Unprofessional!! Won’t be coming back and we usually order 2 or 3 times a week.

I dont understand how they have a 4.1 star review with most of the reviews being 1 to 2 stars! I can surely attest to the opinions. Whoever answers the phone to take orders is very rude and impatient. My sister and I visit my brother often this particular night in April we were there and placed an order which my brother assured was good food but he suggested the salad I am a wing eater and that is the reason I ordered them instead. Even though I called back to change the order I was told by the obnoxious order taker that they were only doing wings even though we had just previously ordered a salad with our initial order. She initially told me they delivered before I place my orders once our total order was placed she sad they didn't have a delivery driver we'd have to come in and pick up I was given one price for my individual order with taxes included my sister's total order and my brother's total order. However when we got there their oder amount remained the same but on my order the man looked at my ticket and said you have a 10 pc wing and 2 ff's I said no its only 1 ff instead of my order being 16.00 it was now 19.00 I told him she quoted me sixteen dollars and some change he said that's without tax I said no she said the tax was included but he insist. The wings were horrible and so was the service and maybe the salad is better but I didn't get the opportunity to experience them and as they say the first expression is the best expression. I would certainly hate to disappoint my brother but I hope he never suggests that...
