Before you enter, beware of this store! You should know that first and foremost, the customer service is really bad and rude, prices are very high compared to the other stores, and you can find even better goods in other stores with courteous, listening, supportive and helpful customer service that won't ignore you. Our story: About eight days ago we purchased a menorah, olive oil candles for the menorah and mezuzos for about $570. When we wanted to return the menorah and the oil candles - we were refused! The cashier answered: that these products cannot be returned because they are "seasonal products" (- Hanukkah hasn't started yet!) Attitude to customers so disrespectful and rude. Needless to say, the cashier ignored us and continued her work with the other customers. It should be noted that when we bought, the cashier did not mention to us that it would not be possible to return these products if we did not want them (as is indicated in any self-respecting store - that when you purchase a certain product and you cannot return it, even though this is written on the receipt, many people do not pay attention for receipts at all, especially when you trust the store). We asked nicely to speak with the store manager. The cashier pretty much ignored it, continued with the other customers and answered - "He's on the second floor, busy, he can't talk with you." Since when the manger refuses to speak to his customors? It's disrespectful . We really experienced a kind of neglect. We were totally shocked, as we have never encountered such sloppy service, since when does the store manager behave rudely and not willing to talk to his customers?! We stood there for about 20 minutes and waited. At the same time, I found out that the price on the box of olive oil candles that we bought "disappeared", and in the store the price was about 32 dollars, and we were charged for 35.99 (without tax), the employee's answer was that the prices have gone down... and there is nothing to do about that. And when we talked about giving a bad review of our store expirience, suddenly the owner of the store - the manager, ran straight to us on the first floor. He was not so willing to listen, he just said that it is not possible to return seasonal products.(Hanukkah holiday has not yet started!) Luckily, we got the mezuzahs back and get refunded. I will never recommend this store to anyone! Because a good store that respects itself and its business, starts with a good customer service that respects its customers. I would prefer to pay more at another store and receive a respectful and kind attitude. This is my opinion and experience...
Read moreI have never written a bad review about any store, but my experience here warranted this post. I will NEVER walk into this store again. I received a gift from AspaClaria Judaica for my engagement party. When I unwrapped the gift and took the it out the glass was completely shattered. I brought the item into the store a day later to let them know that the glass was broken. When I walked into the store the two people working there looked at me with distaste. Already, I felt uncomfortable. I proceeded to the counter to explain that this beautiful item had been given to me as a present a day earlier and that it was broken. The woman working was incredibly rude. She said she wrapped the item herself and there was nothing they could do. Not only was the woman unhelpful but she was cold, unfriendly and flat out rude.
I will never step foot in that store again, and will make it known to all my friends and family not to shop there. They should be ashamed for how they treated me. I am not so much upset that they wouldn't replace the gift. However, I am upset for how I was treated. There are plenty of other Judaica stores in South Florida. I would recommend finding a store with nicer, friendlier more...
Read moreAs someone who was once a frequent, happy customer that loved this judaica, I'm disappointed to say that I no longer recommend it to anyone. The owner has no consideration or respect for his clients, and treated me rudely and coldly the last time I came. His motto? "We are not here to answer questions or provide guidance, we just sell and that's it. If you have questions and need guidance, ask the Rabbi. But buy your stuff and then leave." Not to mention that he and his employee at the front desk lacked the proper respect, maturity, and knowledge, to answer the questions I had about potential purchases that day. Very unprofessional and terrible service.
For those considering buying here, heed my advice and support another judaica that is more welcoming and eager to answer questions, not a place that is cold and vacant like an empty cave. Oh, and a little word of advice to the owner of the store and his employees: "What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbour. This is the whole Torah; all the rest is commentary." (Hillel, Talmud,...
