The ACE Hardware store deliberately places an offer for goods that are not actually available for sale. This deal is placed to attract customers who will buy something else in addition to this product. Then the sale of the offer is unilaterally cancelled by the store. My online order # 54457153-54457463 was cancelled without apology or compensation. Before that, I went to the store twice after receiving a letter that the goods were in stock. The store is quite far from me. And there they told me that such goods were not available. This is a deliberate action of the store, which deceives customers. I think that such stores are not needed at all. Large retail chains like Home Depot or Lowe's are enough. The range of goods there is sufficient. And they act honestly with customers. ACE Hardware stores should soon disappear with such an attitude to business and customers. I will never buy anything from ACE Hardware again and I recommend everyone else not to do...
Read moreOn my first visit the clerk told me they do not carry battery chargers!? I had to go around and forensically investigate where the charges might be. Found multiple models on the top shelve. Duh! Got one, which was defective came back to return. Manager Marcia says I am SOL - no returns on hand tools! What? Where the car charger is considered a hand tool? What you've been smoking lady? Than she summoned whole team of store clerks to check if I am saying the truth. Not with your IQ you will be able to figure out if the charger is working. And lastly what happened with just plain good ol' American customer service? I have 30 days to return/exchange my purchase if I am not happy with it. Miami is still in Continental US the last time I've checked and it is spelled SERVICE not SERVICIO! Next time will take my money to Sears at least they try to care about customer...
Read moreAweful management and unreliable price displays! The price on the shelf for a 3" caribiner was marked as $1.99, item number 6769491D. At the register it rang up as $5.99. When I brought this to the manager's attention, her response was that the register price is the price I have to pay. She said the store has over 10,000 items and she can not take resposibility for keeping all of the prices on the shelves up-to-date. I call that misrepresentation and fraudulent marketing. I promptly returned the items. Beware of shopping in a store that does not take responsibility for displaying the correct prices and will not honor the price when the discrepancy is brought to their attention. That's a HORRIBLE way to run a business! This occurred in the Aventura, Florida store,...
