Bait and Tackle of Apollo Beach — Attraction in Riverview

I'm only getting one star due to every time I stop in here to try to get bait fish are you calling Pin fish they never have them and I heard through the rumors the owner just don't want to buy them he rather catch his own if you can't catch his own he ain't going to carry them tell him I have to go way out of my way just to get pen fish because the one down the street don't have them neither he's the same way he don't like to get them either this is how you lose customers when you don't have what you have when it's easier to get them you don't get them the owner shop need to be a tightwad ? So i have found another place to go guarantee you have all the bait that you ever need i love it here it's five boys Bait and Tackle up in Ruskin you need Penn fish they have you need shrimp they have it you need Frozen bait they got it whatever you need they have it or just stop in and say hey ?? I understand but this big shop got busted by the Florida Wildlife he ain't got no license to get the bait what you need that's why you don't get nothing here it's time for everybody to move on this place...

My daughter and I went to this shop and basically said, we have a fishing pole, a reel that I wound myself and a fishing license. We asked them to give us everything we need to go shoreline fishing. We got more then expected. First he educated me on how the line was moving in my reel and the problems it would cause. So to fix that he hooked it up to a machine that unwound it and then rewound it tighter! I thought it was a cool and simple process as I watched in amazement. Then he showed us how to tie the line to the lead line using a simple and strong knot. Then he got us a bag of hooks and patiently waited for me to attempt to tie the line like I used to when I was a kid. I got frustrated and he took care of it in a snap. Then hooked us up (pun intended) with few other essentials and some bait. Needless to say we were all set to go fishing! On top of all this they are avid supporters of the Veterans group called Heroes on the Water and offered a generous military discount. This is one place that will continue to get my business and I highly recommend...

Awesome experiance!! I was greeted at the door with a friendly smile and a good morning. I was taken care of quickly inside and then told good luck on the way out the door and to have a good day. No joke, I bought the 24 shrimp on Saturday morning 7:30 a.m. and they stayed Alive throughout daily fishing right up until 11pm Sunday evening.
