Charged double what I was told and will not be back. I took my 15 year old little sister here last night as she wanted her nails done for her birthday today. I’d called that morning to ask how much a gel polish change was and was told $25 (same as the other place she usually goes, great) — so we walk in and I tell the man at the desk that she wants a gel polish change and he tells her to sign in on the computer. During this you have to pick your service that you want but they only give you about 6 options and the only gel polish one said gel manicure. As we were both confused my sister asked which one to click on and was told the gel manicure one. After she was done I went up to pay and the total was somehow now $47! I said I was confused as to how the price had now doubled and he said that she picked gel manicure, which includes a hand massage, and is considerably more. I explained that I told him when I walked in just a gel polish change, that my sister was told to put gel manicure as there were no other viable options from the look of it and we would never have gotten the hand massage otherwise. He was rude and wouldn’t budge and I said ok we won’t be back. They ended up charging $37 for gel manicure, $5 for the design on her ring finger and $5 for the pink colored tips (even though that was the only bit of color she was getting on her nails). I didn’t even notice until after that they’d left white stuff on her fingers that’s really hard to get off also which for that price I definitely wouldn’t expect. I feel like they completely took advantage of my sister as she’s a minor and I’ve seen other reviews where other people have experienced the same thing so save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

I went yesterday morning for a basic pedicure. The woman was cutting/trimming my nails not only horizontally, but vertically on the sides, then ripping them out. I’ve never in 15 years or pedicures had someone do this and cause pain. I had no ingrown nails and my last pedicure was month ago and barely even needed trimming. I woke up out of my sleep at 3am with my toes throbbing, swollen, and red in pain. I went to the Urgent Care this morning and was placed on both oral and topical antibiotics. It hurts to walk and/wear shoes and there is pjs beginning to form on my left big toe. I spent $70 with both co-pay and medications combined and after calling and mentioning the issue and that I had to paid $50 to see a doctor because my primary couldn’t get me in this morning, the manager kindly apologized multiple times and then said “Your payment is processed and it is very hard to refund. If you come in next time, I can give you half off a pedicure.” I am just appalled. While he was kind and verbally apologize, I am left with painful infected toes. Obviously there is an issue with cleanliness and bacteria, as I’ve never had an issue at my old salons with manicures or pedicures. Offering “half-off” just left me disappointed and upset. And there is also an updated picture three days later with pus oozing from the sides. A nail tech should NEVER use their bare finger nails (which harbor SO MUCH BACTERIA), to dig in the sides of your toes when nail polish needs to be removed. It took 6 days, two different oral antibiotics (one and then changed to stronger one), and antibiotic ointment to even begin to start feeling better.

Went in to have a relaxing pedicure to end up having the bottom of my foot cut open. The male nail tech then argued back and forth with me that he didnt do it, that he is a professional . I felt the cut happen and saw the blood when he was scrubbing it so hard with the scrub brush! I did not come in here with a fresh open wound. He would not take accountability for it so I stopped the pedicure from being finished and he WANTED TO CHARGE ME $60 for a half done pedicure and a new open wound on the bottom of my foot. I asked for a manager and he told me he was the manager and so I asked to speak with the other manager and she offered to take off $10, I said i did not even get half the pedicure done, so they took off $20. I still paid $40 for horrible experience and will not come back. I understand mistakes happen, but how rude to go back and forth with me about something you clearly did and tried to not take accountability for it. You’ve lost a good customer.

12.1.20 update

The last time I reviewed this establishment was 3 years ago. Since my last review, they are under new management and I will not be returning. I arrived to have a full set of acrylic nails done. When I walked in and asked if they do the glitter acrylic, I wasn't told "yes" or given examples of what they could do. Instead I was immediately asked to show my hands. I keep my natural nails very short and sometimes I bite them so I can understand if they are not easy to work with. I was then ushered to station number 3. The gentleman was gentle upon touching my fingers. However, that is not how it continued. While he was gluing the tips on he would squeeze the corners of my fingers so the corners of the tip would catch the glue. He wasn't using his finger for this method, he used his nails which became a little painful. I sat threw it thinking maybe it was me just being sensitive or my fingers being sensitive from nibbling on them. During this they brought me examples of the diffent styles I could choose from and chose one that was similar to rose gold. Once he glued all the tips on he asked what shape and I told him "coffin shape." He looked at me a little puzzled and I got the feeling he didn't understand so I offered to show him a picture and he said "No, that's ok" He began shaping them and using the nail drill that all nail techs use in the field. While he was using it, he burned every single finger. I was almost in tears. I understand sometimes it might get hot here and there and you may get burned here and there. I'm 38 years old and have had my nails done plenty of times. Especially while living in Arizona where my sister is a licensed nail tech. She's even burned me a couple of times. I get it, it happens. But every single finger? I told him multiple times that he was burning me and he would apologize and continue. The burning continued and when he stopped to continue the shaping, the nail tip on my pinky was oddly shaped and it ended up breaking off. By this pont my fingers were very tender and I decided to pull my hand away and he tried to pull it back. I told him "No please just stop. I think I'm going to go somewhere else." I know that this bothered him and he assured me he wouldn't burn me anymore and that he would fix everything. By this time another gentlemen and woman came to the station to see what the problem was. I told them that I was taking my business elsewhere because I was being burned multiple times and that my fingers were very sore because of it. They assured me they would fix it and that one of them would take over. I refused and offered to pay whatever the cost of the product use was up to that point. The woman told me "No we won't charge you, just let us fix it." I felt she was genuine but up to this point my fingers could not take anymore. I tried to offer payment again and they told me "No charge." I could tell the gentleman standing next to her was upset that I was leaving and as a small business owner I understand. This review is not intended to cause harm or make anyone upset, it is simply to share my experience to help their business grow and learn from this. Due to this experience, I will not be returning.

(My review 3 years ago) I love coming here.. The entire staff is friendly and they give great leg massages. They do exactly what you ask and shape your nails exactly how you...

really unprofessional. The lady doing my nails kept talking badly to me about another girl in there getting her nails done. I got a regular polish acrylic refill. No gel, no designs, nothing extra and she tried to charge me $40 after telling me it was going to be $25. Then when I refused to pay $40 they were super unfriendly and rude. My appointment also started 15 minutes late. And the whole time she kept getting up to other things, and left me sitting for 5-10 minutes at a time.

Update: so the owner reached out to me and offered me %20 off next time but I politely declined and said that I felt to uncomfortable coming back. He then asked me to take my review down because it messes with their reputation. He then got made and told me “I hope you find a cheaper nail place, nothing in life is free” lol these people are so unprofessional. He tried to tell me they were charging me that much because they did a gel soak off which they didn’t. and because I had two missing nails. That still doesn’t add up to the price almost doubling. When it says $23 on their website. They roughly filed it off in maybe a minute. I always tip and am always reasonable because I get that they are taking time out of their day to perform a service but the service I received here was the worst from any nail place ever. They probably have no bad reviews because he has people and Google take them down. Also, my refill took 2.5 hours which is insane to me. When I asked the lady about the pricing during my service she said “ I don’t know ask the lady over there” and that’s when she said “$25”. They literally made the price up on the spot. The lady doing my...
