Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Sanford

It's a Chick-fil-a in name only, might as well be in a mall. No playground. All standalone Chick-fil-a's should be built with a playground. If the owner's too cheap to have one, I'll be too cheap to visit with my family. It's a part of the experience.

Luckily, there are two other locations nearby with one and we'll go out of our way for those. The food may be good, but it's good at the other places too. They cheapened out on the experience and that cannot be forgiven. They couldn't even build a true mobile order only line.

Everything about this feels like a cash grab to me. Go to the other locations that actually built their restaurants like they love your family. If you're picking up, it's probably OK, just don't go in the mobile order line. I say though, support the other locations, even if you are picking up. Send a message that sales are higher at...

Our family has visited many Chick-fil-A establishments over the years and I have to say we were excited to get a new location near our home and finally try it yesterday. I will say though this location is set up to almost reduce staff interaction with the community customer and it is not the most welcoming atmosphere as two employees stood almost behind the wall avoid greeting or taking our order to talk to one another. After several minutes and me saying hello to them and then not respond. One finally wandered over and meekly greeted us and took our order. My daughters ordered two number chicken sandwich meals and I, a market salad. The salad didn’t appear to be fresh or loaded appropriately for the cost it did not feel worth it when we have another location less than a mile away that seems to get it right across the board. I hate being “that person” that pulls into the drive thru within 30 minutes of closing, but Saturday I had a really long day at work. With the next day being Sunday, I wanted a strawberry lemonade. I probably single handedly live off cfa strawberry lemonade. I barely got there within 5minutes and I instantly apologized , but Keelan ??? Keylan??? Keilan??? However you spell his name, was so freaking sweet about it. His energy wasn’t “ugh” , it was more so “you could’ve gotten here at 9:59:59 and ordered the whole menu and I still would’ve been happy to take your order” .
