Tijuana Flats — Restaurant in Florida

I am unsure where to begin...we have never experienced a bad visit at ANY Tijuana Flats until this visit! We will not visit this location again! It began with rude staff taking our order (she was more concerned with getting back to her conversation w/ her co-worker than providing service)...but it didn't stop there. The girl bringing out our food got pissed off at us because we didn't hear her call the name for our food the first time and gave huge attitude when she dropped our food at the table. Hey, ya work at Tijuana Flats, honey...it's LOUD on Taco Tuesday and not everyone can hear you. Then we were completely IGNORED for the rest of our stay. NO ONE came to check on us, ask us how the food was (which, about a quarter of my salad was wilted, old lettuce which NEVER should have been served), no refills, no manager wandering the floor...NOTHING! I'm blown away (and NOT in a good way)! The final nail on the coffin of this visit was when I got up to ask a girl behind the counter for a refill...the cup was snatched off the counter and when I asked for just a little ice and diet coke in my cup, she looked me dead in the face, scooped a LARGE scoop of ice and dumped it into my cup so it was overflowing with ice...then she filled it with soda and set it on the counter and walked away!?!?! WHO DOES THAT? I almost looked around to see if we were being pranked because nobody acts like that in the service industry! NOBODY! To be clear, we've not experienced this kind of awful service anywhere...much less at a Tijuana Flats! This location does not represent the brand name well at all! NEVER, EVER again! We will drive the extra distance to the Orange...

Very disappointing. Meal was made incorrectly on to-go order. Didn’t notice until fiancé returned home. Upon noticing, he went back to get a refund of a refire for what was an awful chimichanga order, not grilled no fried, haphazardly thrown into the box. The food was remade. He returned home. Both chimichangas had stale jerky like blackened chicken that I thought were plastic bits at first. The tortilla(s) were rolled to the point of 4 layers at the bottom, soggy. Much of the ends we’re not filled and was also empty rolled tortilla. The tortilla chips were stale. I almost couldn’t believe how bad the food was. My daughter was happy with her kids meal but for 40 dollars, that’s a pretty outrageous quality I got for my money. I filled out a survey as you’re instructed to do and received an email from Sunshine Fernandez, the general manager asking for more information and stating I would receive a gift card or something. I responded thanking for the email. Since then and providing more information, I have received zero correspondence. I followed up and was ignored. I never requested a gift card, nor a disingenuous apology. That was provided to me with a request for additional information. I wouldn’t have wasted my time with the emails, nor with this review. This was an absolutely terrible experience. I will never return to this location, the customer service was abysmal, and I’d personally recommend if you have no intention of rectifying the problem, don’t reach out to begin with. UPDATE: I ordered from here again tonight and this time they forgot my chips and gave me brown guacamole 🤮 I guess I need to only order her on certain nights because last week I got some food and it was a different night and the service was good! Not sure what’s going on!

I come here a lot but lately Service hasn’t been the best. Last night I ordered something different from what I usually get and it was not made the way that it was listed on their menu. Also no drink carriers I had more than one drink and my cup holder was already full in my car and I asked for straws and utensils and got none of those. Now I know it’s hard because of the pandemic I work in the food industry too but I always strive to give the customers exactly what they order not make something wrong and pretend the customer doesn’t notice. I still ate the food it was good but not what I ordered. And I couldn’t go back because they were gonna close by the time I would have gone back there. Anyways hoping things change but from now on I’ll just stick with my usual and that’s it at least at this location, because what I spent last night plus the tip wasn’t worth it for my...
