We live nearby and ordered for the first time tonight. As other reviews mention, the lady taking orders is no-nonsense but she's not at all rude. It's just all-business once you're on the line.
Food was ready in 15 mins as promised, order was totally correct. Got the veggie lo mein -- up to typical chinese restaurant standards. Egg drop soup was better than most. Krab rangoons and egg rolls were a bit thick skinned and under-filled -- I assume they get these from a supplier and just refry them (like most similar restaurants).
Place was clean, you can see the whole kitchen, and there was a line of other orders ready for pickup at 8pm on a Saturday night.
Fortune cookies come free, and you can get 6 extra for 50 cents. They were better tasting that other local competition, nice vanilla taste and crispier/fresher than my old standby.
Overall, about what you'd expect from an American Chinese restaurant. ...
Read moreThe restaurant is small, but it’s fine and relatively clean. The food is really not "excellent" at least the lunch's. The price is ok for the amount of food they serve, but it doesn't taste like Chinese food. The rice is like a yellow rice, "rice a la jardinera" type. I think it could have more flavor. And I don't think the attitude of the owner is rude, is that Asians people they are very direct when speaking. Maybe she should learn to be more friendly or pleasant when dealing with the public. Since her work depends on the good treatment he provides to the customers who consume in the restaurant. And maybe the seats outside could be cleaner. There are people who like to eat outdoors. Everything is always said so that the places provide a good atmosphere, delicious food and the places always have many customers and above all! Satisfied customers with the site...
Read moreI just took the time to reset my password because I forgot it so I could leave this review. The food is THAT good and I want to share!
The mushu pork is the best I’ve ever had with tons of roasted pork with incredible barbecue grilled flavor, perfectly cooked cabbage, amazing pancakes to bundle the love.
The shrimp with snow peas was spot on with a light velvety sauce and fresh crunchy snow peas. We also got the Singapore noodles - which was loaded with different meats, julienne veggies and amazing curry spice. Four egg rolls were fresh crispy and hot and the fried wonton were hard and crunchy just like I like them.
I am so relieved to find this amazing restaurant so close to our home and am planning on takeout weekly! No I did not get compensated for this review just want to give props where props are due! Mushu...
