Cali Nails — Attraction in Carney

The male nail tech was very rude! I came in and asked for a pink and white ombre. He showed me a pic of his work which looked beautiful. He proceeded to do one nail but I noticed that the pink powder used for the Ombre did not look particularly well for my skin tone. I asked him if he could find another shade and when he did it still was not flattering for me. Mind you this is still only one nail that he did for me. When I looked at the one nail it still did not look good so I told him can we just scratch it and start over I did not like the color. He proceeded to get offended because I told him I did not like the nail. He started to complain that I was basically telling him he did not know how to do his job which I was not. I was in no way telling him that he did not know how to do it I just did not like the color. I guess he was irritated because I told him to start over I am not going to pay for something that I do not like. It was very unprofessional I am a paying customer. He then proceeded to treat me very cold while doing my nails as if he did not want my money. I told him that I am not trying to be difficult. There was no reason for him to get offended just because I did not like a color. And it is not okay to treat a paying customer like that. If I ever go again he will not be...

Horrible! The owner, whom is the guy who sits in the front has no idea as to what he is doing! He was either rushing to do my nails or he has some type of disorder that causes him to shake. Either way...he continued to file my cuticles causing them to bleed, he did not file down the acrylic enough, and his polish job was lumpy and thick to the point that it wouldn't dry and it was GEL polish. Last but not least...since the polish wouldn't dry and his finger prints were all over my nails, I just asked him to remove it...he had the nerve to try to charge me for the gel polish that had to be taken off. He said he's charging me for the time it took for him to put that mess on my nails. I don't know about the ladies who work there, but please stay away...

My nails came out pretty. However, I asked for around the nail to be cleaned up a bit and was told it would come off later. 😂 This was a ridiculous thing to hear. I’ve never been told this by a nail tech. So, there is still acrylic around and clumped underneath my nail. Because I was given an attitude instead of a solution. 👍Thanks lady.
