Daily Sushi — Restaurant in Maryland

Mostly EVERY Friday lunchtime, i would stop in this place cuz i liked their food. I finally found a place sushi was decent 🍣 So today this friday july 5th i order an order of sushi to go.as i was waiting for my food , the guy who makes it he sneezed but i didnt see if he sneezed over the food. So i let it go then, i seen him wearing gloves makin the sushi. Then he went n grab some paper towels still was wearing same gloves , he took a paper towel blew his nose. ( with same gloves he was making the food with actually touching food. To roll the sushi rice) he dipped his hand back in the food n act like nothing happend. So i was standing there n mananger there the young lady was there , i say excuse me i dont mean to be rude but he just blew his nose with a paper towel and didnt wash his hands ( she had nerve to say he wearing gloves ) i i say yes! i understand but he had the gloves on when he blew his nose ;he should of washed his hands or change his glove not dip his hand back in the food .. She like ok, you want ur money back i say yes please. I say i dont want food if he's making it.. She did apolgize n say sorry.. But if your working in a resturtant and specially if your working up front where your noticeable infront your paying customer's whos bring in business to you.. Just use your mannners...

Lived within walking distance of this place for like 15 years. Never visited here, always looked dark and smelled bad. Was convinced by my better half that it was a "new" place, so we got 3 rolls and tempura, 23 bux for that isn't bad. BUT...the renovation is better than it was? But still weird?? It is bright, with leftover looking building materials and it is sparsely decorated. The counter is bizarre. sauces in squeeze bottles on the back counter and THE SMALLEST glass sushi bar box I've ever seen. Then a whole lot of counter, and the back is all old school chinese carryout. The rolls were, ok. On the smallish side, they seemed fresh but I've had as good from Wegmans and they were bigger. The shrimp and tempura veg was exactly 1 onion ring, 2 long prepped pieces of shrimp, 2 small pieces of broccoli, 2 slices of zucchini, and two long slivers of sweet potato. It was served on ice berg lettuce (??) And covered with a sweet mayo and a sweetish chili sauce. It tasted good. But it was weird to cover something meant to be crunchy with sauces. No one has gotten sick yet, so 3 stars for effort, but there are plenty of better places to get...

Food: I ordered the AYCE sushi option and I couldn't be happier. I absolutely got my money's worth and I loved every single thing they brought out. And they don't skimp on portions. The edamame appetizer I got was sizable and each sushi order was full size.

Concerning what actually comes with the AYCE order, I attached a picture of the AYCE menu. It includes appetixers soups, and desserts in addition to the sushi.

Service: All staff members were excellent. The woman running the front was very friendly and was happy to field questions or offer recommendations. The gentlemen making the sushi are very good at what they do. Each dish was beautiful and delicious.

Atmosphere: everything in the seating area is clean and organized. The only complaint one may have is that the order desk has a lot of stacjs of takeout containers, sauce packets, etc. But I don't see that as being an issue at all.
