Charmed Nails & Spa — Attraction in Cypress

I visited this nail spa Saturday. I had previously purchased 2 Groupons and wanted to give it a try since it is 3 minutes away from my house. My husband and I walked in at 6 (appointment time), and it was completely empty. Per our Groupon, we were supposed to get champagne, but when offered drinks we were told that there was only water and Coke. We were literally sitting less than 15ft away from the bar. I received a combo mani and pedi, my husband added on a mani for himself thinking that his man hands would be scrubbed but they weren't. The polish is unevenly spread on my nails with polish also underneath and everything just seemed rushed. I'm not sure if it's because I was using a Groupon deal, but the $68 for our services had previously been paid. Once it was time to go, a young lady was sent to the front to handle our Groupon and added services. My husband was charged $15 for his 5 minute mani and left a $10 tip just because we are generous ppl. If we had been treated like we were supposed to be treated, we could've worked through the kinks and come back but unfortunately we weren't handled professionally. I didn't make the champagne thing a huge deal because we rarely drink but if it was supposed to come with it don't lie or decide not to offer it to us. Just got the full service here (mani and pedi). Felt right at home. This’ll be my new go-to spot for getting my nails done. The owners (Tom and Ly) are so kind and friendly making sure you are greeted as soon as you walk in. They check-in on you periodically to make sure you have refreshments and anything else you can possibly need to feel taken care of.

Cindy did my pedicure and she did such a gentle and THOROUGH job getting my ingrown toes! Bless that woman cause no one I’ve been to in the past will be as gentle while getting it all out! She only works Mondays and Sundays if your ingrown needs a little lovin’.

Ly did my manicure and she did such a beautiful job! I came from work and she was so sweet to put up with all my ranting about the day.

Close to my neighborhood and after trying several along Barker-Cypress with disappointment, I was hopeful walking in. Easy to make an appointment online, so they were expecting me. Lana did my nails and Tiffany did my pedicure. I was not rushed in choosing a color and once I had chosen a color they quickly seated me and got to work. Checked with me through the process to make sure they were being gentle and asked if I had any special issues (like a split nail that needs acrylic to keep together).
