Very Poor Business on Owners Part.
I had made an appointment recently with a stylist that I am familiar with, I am not sure where the miscommunication was but the way the situation was handled by management was awful. The stylist and I had agreed that the picture I had shown was a full highlight. I was told my goal was achievable. As the service went on I noticed the stylist taking very thin sections which is opposite of the heavy chunky highlights that I requested. When it got to the toning section of the service, the toner was left on for near 2 minutes before being rinsed out which caused the end result to be brassy and have aggressive foil lines near my roots. Now, I paid almost 300$ for something that was no where near what I showed my stylist and what I was promised. I had reached out to my stylist later that night expressing my concerns and after a couple days she had gotten back to me and told me that management said to "rebook for a balayage to achieve your goal" Now this is incredibly unprofessional to me and just feels money hungry as that is not the service I was told was in the photo (text screenshot proof) and is not the service I was wanting to begin with. I recently reached out to another salon and explained what I was wanting, SHOWING THE SAME PHOTO and was told that they would have to essentially redo everything that the stylist at this salon did to achieve my goals yet would still be a full highlight...I simply would not trust this salon to "fix" my hair either so my only option is to spend another 300$ to get it fixed elsewhere.
Response To Owner:
I never once mentioned it being an issue that extra bowls were necessary. I was told coming up on the third bowl that she didn't not want to charge me for a full bowl since she was almost done. I would have gladly paid more to have gotten exactly what I want. If a second service was necessary than that should have been brought to my attention during the "consultation" But nothing was mentioned. I would also gladly send anyone videos/photos that I have to show it does not look similar. Simply do not understand how you can tell someone to be happy with their hair when...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really thought it over before writing a review. I had cut and color done. I was so excited to possibly find a good salon after trying several. My regular hairdresser got Covid over a year ago and side effects left her unable to work. I donāt want to mention the name at this salon as I think her young age and lack of experience caused my experience to be so bad. By far the worst cut AND color I have ever had! She just couldnāt understand how to cut my hair. I explained so many times I finally just gave up. My color is embarrassing. I am 62 . She didnāt listen at all to what I wanted. I even had color from before to go by! This is almost black. I look horrible. Iām so horrified having to face my clients like this. No experienced hairdresser would use this based on my instructions. I paid $177.00 to look like a cheap trick with a cut not fitting to my style at all. I was hesitant seeing how young she is, so I ASK if she had worked with my hair type before. She obviously said what got her the money. Letās be clear. You had zero conversation with me. As mentioned above, my regular hair stylist got sick. I was thrilled with her work. My experience with a new person was good with the layered cut, just over processed highlights twice. Thatās what was said. An experienced stylist would have been able to follow the many layers my hair needs to lay right. The color is another horror. Again, experience would have made this a no no. The $177.00 was my hair. The manās cut was said to be $28.00. So according to you I was also way over charged. I would have more respect for you to have admitted you hired a brand new person without experience and turned her loose allowing this to happen to people. This canāt be fixed for now. As you well know, it would take lifting this hideous color causing damage to my hair. Implying I only needed a shorter cut is another dishonest attempt to be defensive. This review wasnāt meant to hurt the stylist. Thatās why I didnāt use her name. Iām warning others to use caution when going off reviews alone. I knew I should leave as soon as she...
