Mamma Mia Pizzeria — Restaurant in Florida

Update 9/29/2024 Service is terrible. Ordered food at 1834. It is now 2014. I call to see if they are even delivering it and the girl tells me they are closed. I asked for a manager and a girl got on the phone stating she was a manager but refused to give me her name. Then I was put on hold for nearly 10 minutes. What sounded like the same girl gets on the phone and says she is the manager again and sorry for the hold but then so she is not the same person I was talking to but her name is Emily. She refused to give me a refund stated the food was still on its way even though I had been on hold longer than it takes to travel from their place to my home. The girl told me she is a manager but not capable of giving refunds. She also told me that customers who had hurricane damage and didn't pay for food are prioritized over customers who paid and had damage. I have spent 3 days cleaning up hurricane debris and just wanted to feed my kids something simple. It has been almost 2 hours since I ordered.

The food is good but the customer service is not. We ordered food and they only delivered half of it (ordered 3 items, got 1). Called and they could not deliver the rest for over an hour. Management refused to speak to me. The girl said they would refund the entire order at the end of the night. Three weeks later. Still no refund. Called again. Still no one available that can handle the situation. Now waiting on a call back. Really disappointed because the wings were...

Ok! Honest review time! Mamma Mia's! Saw some posts about this pizza place and decided on a visit to see for myself how good this pizza really was! Folks - it was OUTSTANDING! Excellent pizza pie! Hold on, more on that in a minute. So we walked in, (pretty busy take out)and was instantly greeted. Really nice inside, great decor, just cozy for a night out for pizza! Our server Amaya seated us and took our order. I'm tellin ya Amaya was spot on awesome! Had our drinks there in a minute or two. They have a few tv's there which was nice. So we ordered their large antipasto salad to start with. Nice salad, had a good amount of your typical antipasto ingredients and the Italian dressing was good as well. Fast forward - the pizza arrives! Had a large pepperoni, mushroom and extra sauce pie. It was screaming hot. Warning - let it cool off a few minutes before you dig right in! The pizza sauce was top notch, had just the right amount of spices and I swear it tasted like someone peeled the tomatoes that morning! The cheese was great, the toppings were very tasty & plentiful and the crust was excellent. Amaya was back and forth from the front counter to see if we were ok and if we needed anything. (had our sodas filled all the time too which was totally awesome) Can't wait to try other things on the menu! We wish we had more room to try the desserts too - next time! Big time yum! Placed and order for pick up at a certain time today. I arrived on time and waited 5 minutes tops to leave with my food. Spent 35 dollars on a medium 2 topping pizza and 10 wings and the pizza was room temp and crust was cold. Wings were not cold but hardly any sauce on them. Taking them out of the box they were dry and not covered in bbq but had some watery bbq sauce on the bottom of the foil. Not much at all and half clear like watered down sauce lol. We have ordered many times and rarely have issues other than waiting longer than what they say will be the time to pick up. 1 time like 45 minutes longer but let that go since they were busy and the food has usually been good. The pizza crust was white with no color and literally cold when I bit into the crust like it was under cooked. Not the tan looking color and warm crisp we normally get here. Never had a pizza that cold or like that and we have ordered many times. Tossed it away it tasted like leftovers. At this point we are done with this business as they obviously don't have it together over there. If you decide to order make sure it's good before you leave and don't make the mistake I just did by not checking it first. Who wants cold pizza when you are ordering out? Sure I could call and speak about it but why when they are serving undercooked or old pizza. Probably dont care anyways. Many other spots around here that serve fresh food...
