I don't live in the area, but I visit often. I decided to sign up pre paid for one year. I paid 399.00 for the full package. I was told that my wife could come with me as a visitor every time for free. I was also told she could use the massage tables for free with me. That turned out not to be true. That was one of the reasons I signed up for the 399 package. So I ended up paying an additional $80 for that privilege. I actually am not complaining about that. It's fine. The people working there are very nice but typically they refuse to enforce any rules whatsoever. Otherwise the equipment is great. The only thing I would say is the music is way too loud. You can even hear it through your headphones. What really got me upset is another member was wearing a shirt that showed Donald Trump being shot in the back of the head John F. Kennedy style with blood spatter. I thought that was completely offensive and should never been allowed in a gym environment. Especially in a private business. This is counterproductive to the positive atmosphere of a workout facility. Not only is it counterproductive and negative but it is inciting violence and creating disruption and acrimony in the environment. It's a shirt that is purposely provoking others and it's a major distraction to the gym goer. Not to mention it is advocating for and glorifying homicide. I asked the people working there if it was against the rules. They refused to acknowledge that the shirt was offensive and said that it's a first amendment right and people can wear whatever they want. But that's not true. It's a private business and the people working there including the business itself have a responsibility to the keep members safe. Safe from the malicious behavior of members, and from unwarranted provocation. I'm not even sure if this is not a...

I recently visited the Crunch Fitness in San Leandro, located conveniently next to US Chef. The gym has ample parking and an impressive array of heavyweights, catering to all fitness enthusiasts. One standout feature I appreciate is the availability of a punching bag, adding a dynamic element to workouts.
While the overall experience is amazing, I do have a suggestion for improvement. The space around the punching bag could be expanded to prevent overcrowding and provide more individual space during workouts. Additionally, I noticed the punching bag showing signs of wear and tear over time, possibly due to frequent use. Enhancing the durability of the equipment would be a valuable improvement.
On a positive note, Crunch Fitness has recently added more free weights for squats and deadlifts, a welcome update for those focusing on strength training. Unfortunately, amenities like a sauna room and swimming pool are absent, but the friendly and accommodating staff make up for it.
In summary, Crunch Fitness in San Leandro is a top-notch gym, especially for those into heavy lifting. The accommodating staff and diverse equipment earn it a solid 10 out of 10. Addressing the punching bag space and durability would make the experience even better. Highly recommended for fitness...
