Pros: It is in the middle of Crystal City, close to a lot of hotels and apartment buildings.
It has both yellow & Blue lines
Cons:
The staff in the metro station manager’ s kiosk are very unfriendly, they could be aggressive at times. They lack the minimum level of professionalism and customer service. One of them told me once “ If I WAS you, I will take me A uber” because I was complaining about the inaccuracy in the time schedule.
You can’t buy a single trip ticket, you must buy the SmartTrip card and pay $2 for it, it is rechargeable but for people, like me, who do not use metro all the time, I keep forgetting my smart-trip card and buy new one, I end up with 3 or 4 of them.
Time schedule here is so inaccurate, always wrong: you can check you Metro app that says next train in 10 min, you arrive in station, train comes after 15 minutes.
Blur line train will never give you a ride on time because it mist get hold “ momentarily” when entering DC.
I have been living in Crystal city for 5 years; they will never fix the time schedule or the blue line holding “ momentarily” when entering DC..
Metro is too good to be criticized; they are entitled! Like “who are these people to tell us what and how to do it!!!!!” Also like: “ whattt... what the hell are you...

Do your research to make sure you are going to the right place. This one services both blue and yellow lines which can take you to the Smithsonian Stop, the Arlington Cemetery Stop, the Pentagon Stop, the Capital Hill Stop, and more. I take off a star because sometimes you run into hooligans in every since of the word. All I will say is be careful and if you are a hooligan then remember the metro is not a place for stupidity . I'm not a Karen or a Kyle but I don't appreciate shouting, opening the emergency door, and other things that do no one any good. Hooligans belong indoors where they can sort through their hooligan affairs in private. Otherwise, after I'm off my soap box, enjoy DC. If you don't mind paying, I recommend the one day pass so you don't have to worry about...
Read moreThe station manager is so rude! Never ask her for help! She will snap at you rather than help you! You are better off asking a stranger to help you. Which is exactly what this distraught young lady did when she was unable to load her smartrip. The station manager not only would not let her enter the gate, but she was so rude that the girl started crying! I couldn't help myself I had to ask her if she was okay. She said that she lived far away and she was stranded. Poor woman. Metro...
