Do not go here. I had the misfortune of working with Eddie. My wife and I went back during Labor Day to check out the sale. And since then they have given us nothing but problems and refuse to help us.
When we went, we inquired about their 0% financing plan and also if the price drops would they be able to price match. Our sales person assured us that there would be no hard pull to my credit, because I am in the process of buying a house so I asked him multiple times; and he assured me it wouldn't. Then we called the bank and even the person on the phone assured me it was a soft pull.
The next day I got an alert from my credit reporting and it was indeed a hard pull. The manager (I believe his name was Mark) of the store said he 'understood' but he was unable to do anything or escalate. And advised I call the bank. I did that but that led me nowhere to multiple dead ends. At that the point the damage to my credit was done and the line of credit had shown up. So I thought to just let it go, there was nothing I could do.
Then I noticed today the mattress I ordered was further discounted. So I called the store as the sales person had told me and said I would want to price match. Low and behold apparently you can only do it 30 days from ordering which the sales person did not mention. Again the manager said there was nothing he could do and advised I talked to customer service. So the first lady I talked to was very empathetic and understood my entire negative experience so far and escalated it. The reason was because the financing terms for my original purchase was different then what the new sale price is. You would think it would be easy to just adjust the terms since the price is lower and the term would be shorter. But apparently Synchrony and Sleep Number can't.
Then the next person I spoke to started just reading the policy like a robot, without any solution or form of empathy. To which I just hung up. I can't even cancel my mattress because they already dinged my credit and it wouldn't be refunded; the damage is already done. This place doesn't deserve your business. Their customer service is non existent, and I would stay away. It's typical car salesman energy, who will do or say anything to make a sale; and then put their hands up when it comes to any form of customer service. Read moreI am so disappointed. I was excited to order my sleep number bed, the service in store was great. My order totaled to a little over $4000; this included the adjustable base, and the CSE mattress, and I was on a monthly installment for roughly $112/ month. There's been nothing wrong with the bed itself or the adjustable base. However, the Monday(Dec 19th) before Christmas, I see that the ENTIRE amount of $4000+ was deducted from my account. I instantly called synchrony bank, they advised that my money would be returned via paper check within 3 to 5 business days. To my surprise, got it back on Wednesday(Dec 21), so I was pretty happy about that. Not too long after on Friday(Dec 23), the amount gets deducted again!! So I went through the holidays STRESSED out and worried about finances, especially because the end of the month was coming up. NOT TO MENTION, THIS WHOLE ORDEAL HAS AFFECTED MY CREDIT. Never again. I'm currently in the process of returning my mattress, because I can't be going through this constantly. Literally, the whole time, all they could do was say "sorry", as if sorry is gonna pay my bills or repair the damage done to my credit. Unacceptable. From the moment we walked into the store, Kimberly was extremely helpful. I don't typically like mattress shopping because I hate to feel pressured by sales staff, however, this experience was totally different. Kimberly took the time to understand why we were interested in the sleep number and our individual needs. She was knowledgeable (there was not a single question that she didn't know!), friendly, and patient as we took the time to try different models. She was available for text and phone calls after we left to make sure we had all the information that we needed to make a decision. At the end, we purchased the split king, i8 360 smart bed, pillows, sheets & the mattress cover. Really looking forward to taking delivery & seeing how this bed helps support my chronic pain. 10/10 one of the best sales/buying experiences...
