Dive Connections — Attraction in Hollymead

I recently completed my open water scuba certification at Dive Connections, and I couldn't be more happy with the experience, thanks to my fantastic instructor, Chris Findley and his team.

Chris's expertise in all things scuba is truly remarkable. Throughout the course, he patiently answered countless questions from myself and my fellow classmate, ensuring that we fully understood each concept and technique. His depth of knowledge instilled a sense of trust and confidence in his guidance. Chris always kept a positive and supportive attitude throughout the course.

Moreover, Chris's support during nerve-wracking moments, such as practicing mask removal underwater, was invaluable. His calm demeanor and reassuring guidance helped me conquer my fears and develop the confidence needed to handle such situations while diving.

Lastly, I’ll mention all the gear I bought or rented was top notch! Everyone I met at the shop was very knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming.

I have a dive trip this weekend so about 3 weeks ago I took in my BCD and Regulator I bought used online to be serviced. They sent the regulator out to be serviced and my BCD is Sherwood which they sell so they said they would do it in house. The cummerbund on the BCD is too big for me so after a separate 25 minute drive to the shop to be fitted for a smaller one I was told I would receive a call the next day with pricing and the order would be placed... that didn't happen so now I am just going to stitch my own velcro on further down so it fits. I will say the servicing for the parts was done on time for my trip so i'm pleased with that I just found it rather unfortunate being a Sherwood dealer they didn't call and order a replacement part for me like they said they would. They were apologetic about the situation but that doesn't strap me into my BCD. Ill go somewhere else next time for servicing because I found it lazy and I don't need lazy doing maintenance on things I'm trusting...

I had a truly wonderful experience with Dive Connections! I had tried to complete my scuba certification almost a year earlier and stopped because of nerves. I came to Dive Connections feeling very nervous about giving it another try, and from my first phone call onward, everyone on the training staff was extremely kind, supportive, and knowledgeable.
