I absolutely love the pizza here. We’ve ordered from A Squared many times, and when the owner is in, it’s A+—honestly some of the best pizza I’ve ever had and totally worth the price.

Everyone is always very friendly, so that’s never an issue. That said, we’ve noticed a drop in quality on a few occasions, usually on weekends. Out of many great orders, there have been about three where the pizza just wasn’t up to the usual standard. It makes it hard to spend nearly $30 on eight slices when it’s inconsistent.

Friendly owner - spent time patiently explaining what Detroit style pizza was to some walk-in customers.

Great pizza - light, airy dough, crispy sides, good toppings, true Detroit. Detroit style is unusual for people who are used to the sauce being just above the dough but it's really no different than those dippers that pizza hut (or dominoes, little caesars, whomever) had for a while.

Only complaint would be the A2 sauce. As named, it lends itself to the idea it's a specialty sauce, however it didn't really stand out as anything unique but it was still good pizza sauce.

I’ve been a customer since 2020, but I held off on reviewing until I had a chance to try the new process, new oven, and new team. Now that I have, I can confidently say—it’s all fantastic. The pizza is killer, and the quality is a step above anything else around.
