This is probably the first time I am writing a bad review. Just to clarify, I’ve been to this salon a few times before and did not have any issues. However, this time around, what I experienced was nothing short of awful. To begin, I walk in to the salon with an appointment and am asked to be seated and told that I will be taken care of shortly. I wait patiently because I understand that it’s busy this time of year. After about 10 minutes, a lady walks up to me and says nothing. Literally just stands in front of me and gestures for the other lady to ask me to move for her customer because she has to dry her nails. The other lady points to the other chairs available that the customer can sit on but no this lady just stares and me and wants me to move. Finally, the other lady kindly asks me to go sit on an empty pedicure chair. I was a bit confused on where exactly to sit so I sit back down on my chair and the lady standing in front of me tells me rudely “i’m using that chair”. She needs to learn manners, i’ve never in my life been so uncomfortable. I was disgusted and ran out of the salon. I will not tolerate anyone that has a nasty attitude, especially towards their customers. Dp Nails should really interview their nail techs thoroughly before hiring. Her demeaner is something that I will not forget, absolutely unnacceptable. Will not be returning unless this issue is addressed and...
Read moreMy friend and I came to this salon randomly as we are new in the area and are looking for a nail home. This place, while okay for certain crowds, is absolutely not the kind of atmosphere for relaxing and enjoyable nail maintenance. Let’s start with Diane. She was friendly enough, but clearly doesn’t understand the care that goes into cuticle maintenance. The cuticles on my hands and feet are extremely chopped and jagged as if a person with no experience completed the service. She paid no attention to detail and left all my nails uneven and paper thin. So much so that my nails are currently ripped in my nail beds on 4 out of ten of my fingers. It’s been less than a week. When I asked her to do my polish a certain way she acted as if I was being too particular and said she would fix it when she was almost done. Knowing good and well that you cannot change gel polish without taking it off completely. Then proceeded to file my big toe nail down to the nail bed to attempt to make it seem like they were even. When the gentleman went to paint my finger nails he had to correct her filing and shaping. I don’t mind paying for services, but a gel mani pedi is not worth $140 with ragged towels and subpar experience. My nails are currently so sore and fragile. If you want some acrylic this might be the place for you, but if you care about the health of your natural nails please...
Read moreVery disappointed. I have been a loyal customer for over 3 years at dp nails. I always go in for gel polish or gel manicure with Kim and without a doubt she is PHENOMENAL. She always makes sure my nails are perfect and gives me her opinion on what polish would look best. However, about 2 months ago I decided to get a pedicure with a completely different person. I have now had a fungus on my left toe nail for extended time and when I brought it up to the owner's attention she told me that by no means did I get the infection at DP nails and she immediately blamed Kim (who did not complete the pedicure) and was yelling at her in front of customers. First off, DP nails was the ONLY place I received a pedicure at. Very disrespectful and unprofessional of the OWNER to be reprimanding her own staff who was not even at fault in front of other customers and did not even own up to the mishap. Very disappointed and upset that they chose to lose a customer for pettiness. If you attend, please ask for Kim. She...
