Elk Grove Certified Farmers' Market — Attraction in Elk Grove

I enjoy the farmers market. This one is not real large but it does have all the neat little things that you want to get at a farmers market. I appreciate having one close by that I don't have to drive to Sacramento and through all that traffic and his issues and problems to get to Farmers Market. I kind of wish this and will become a little bit bigger, and overtime perhaps it will. I would love to be able to see a place to get some Meats at this farmers market. A couple years ago there was a neat place that did have a booth here. I haven't seen them recently. And of course I'm just getting to where I want to be able to order Meats in bulk. So I'll keep watching and maybe the meat guys will come back again now and then so that I can order a bulk meat. There's flowers here, of course fruits and vegetables, awesome other side type of businesses without food. There's nuts, honey, things in season as well of course cuz it's a farmers market! Plenty of free parking. The vendors are are nice and answer your questions and of course most of them give out free little samples of their items. Florin has great access to many local farms and fresh produce. As a result, many popular little farmer’s markets set up here on the weekends. Elk Grove’s Market, just south of Florin has a great reputation and is well worth look if you are in town on the right days. Live bands often play in the street here, creating a lovely atmosphere for browsing.

Local honey, nuts, fruit, and vegetables are all available at low prices, but the highlight of this market is its beautiful selection of flowers.

I love my neighborhood farmers' market and it's open year round. Great selection of items I need: local fruits, vegetables, nuts, honey, eggs, olive oil, baked goods, flowers. Occasionally they have live music. Free parking, close to the freeway. Open Saturdays from 8 til noon. I'm enjoying the white corn that is on sale at this time if the year.
