Hà Nôi Phở — Restaurant in Elk Grove

So first of all, this place really sucks at customer service! When this place first opened, I went to try it out and the food was good but service was so so. Thought that because the business was new and employees were still trying to get settle with the atmosphere but I guess that wasn’t the case. Went back to this place with my son and was very surprise that the customer service was even more worse. Went to place an order to go and it took 15-20 minutes and still no one came to help take order while waiting patiently at the table. As I am waiting a girl waitress just walks back and forth doing nothing and the other guy walking around soing nothing as well. I thought to myself, why am I still waiting to order! So I waited some more about 5 more minutes and just when I thought I was going to get to order the phone rings and the waiter goes and pickup the phone and starts writing order for whoever called. I was already piss by waiting so long and now I was ignore and others who called got to order first, that was so disrespectful and rude. I then stood up and told my son to go. So we just took off without ordering. Sonfor the record, as a food blogger and trying restaurant all over town and everywhere I go, this place has very poor customer service. Sad that I would not go to this place anymore and recommend that anyone reading this post don’t patronize there as well cause we are the one who pays their bill for them to stay in business and people should get treated better. I keep overlooking all the issues I encounter here. I tell myself it's not a big deal and return as a fellow asian in support of asian businesses but after the 5th time, I think I have to honestly review this place as it is. I wouldn't seek out this place to eat at but it's conviently located by the movie theatre. The food taste average but you can always see how unfresh it is (ex: pho garnishes are old and limping dry, jalapeño browning seeds etc..) they never fill your drinks and always I mean always forget something you order. They forgot the eggrolls for my daughter the 2nd and 3rd time I visited. I had to ask them to remove it when I went to pay. They forgot the Bahn mi sandwich the 4th time I visited which I asked them to remove as well. This last time they forgot the thai tea and I had to once again ask them to remove it. Too much patterns of this. This is 4 outta 5 visits. They always bring out food at different random times also so you assume they are just taking a little longer with part of your order. (They bring out only my meal and will bring my husband's meal after im already done eating mine) all the hassle and repeat issues just aren't worth it for the average food being...

I will never visit this establishment again. It was date night and we were getting a snack before going to the movies. We ordered fry chicken wings, pork skewers and two drinks to go. We paid and the cashier said it'll be ready in 10 minutes, which worked for us, it was 3:20 and the movie started at 3:45. At 3:43, I went to the counter to inquire about our food, the cashier went to the restaurant side and told a gentleman (I'm being nice) something, he came to the counter and said that our food was almost done. I told him that we were told 10 minutes, 20 minutes ago, he started laughing and said, it hasn't been 20 minutes, I told him that there was nothing funny and to check our receipt time, he looked and asked the cashier if this is it, she said yes, then he spoke to her in Vietnamese, I asked him to say it in English, he claimed that he was asking her about the receipt (they had just had that conversation in English). He disputed our wait after seeing that we paid at 3:20 and it was 3:43 (my calculations said it was already 23 minutes). We openly thought about asking for a refund, and all of a sudden our food was ready. I will never visit this...
