When the manager Enrique was showing me how to use the lock, he said other customers are very incompetent in using the locks and that he hoped after showing me, I wouldn’t have an issue as well. He also seemed frustrated when showing me around when everything inside looked the same. I understand he works there and knows his whereabouts, but he didn’t have to seem irritated with my questions. He also locked my unit a day before he should have due to “late payment”, which was paid as soon as I got the call. I hadn’t realized the payment didn’t go through, so I went in person to pay it and updated the information. If he’s management, he needs to be retrained on how to speak to customers. Due to this experience, I’m looking into moving to a different storage unit after the holidays. I don’t appreciate management speaking so low of its customers and not dealing with payments in the appropriate manner. I’ve had other storage units before and...

Rented unit in Venice Fl today. 5005 Englewood. The on sight manager Sue just started today and I was there first thing so it was baptism by fire for her so to speak. She worked at other storage facilities before and was very familiar with the details of this facility. She showed me my original unit via reservation but I inquired about others, which she happily took the time to find and show me each one. I upgraded and rented, even though a facility just down the street had the same size unit that was less$ and a free one month. However, having an insight manager that is knowledgeable with a great personality was well worth the additional cost. The unit I rented is in the newer building which is quite clean and nice. Well lighted with great access with good security. Definitely recommend checking this place out....
