Costco has lost me and my friends business forever. I am a disabled veteran, and single dad of three. We were moving from Florida to Washington state, when I had engine trouble and had to stop in Tallahassee. I had already had $1800 stolen from me two days before this incident. Then had to pay $450 for new tires on our RV. $750 to fix the truck. And we were in an accident in the rental car, earlier that morning, causing several fractures to the vertabrea in my neck. I was out of money and needed to get some cash. The ATM locator told me that Costco had an ATM that was linked to my bank, meaning no $2.95 charge for each $200 I withdrew. I was pulling $500. I went up to the entrance and was stopped y an employee going in. She asked me for my membership card. I told her that I didnt have one, that I was from out of town, had just been in an accident and needed to pull $500 for the deductible that Enterprise car rental was wanting when I was asked to come in to settle the accident claim. I told her that PNC bank gave me the atm location to pull the money, and that I only needed to get to the atm. She refused to let me in the store. She told me that I needed to be a member, and that the ATM was for members only. PNC said it was not their ATM and it was for anybody that needed to use it, that they should not have refused me access to the ATM. I beggedthe lady to help me out, but she would not show any compassion at all. I was wearing my Disabled Veterans hat, and had a neck brace on, but there was just no empathy for me at all. I will now boycott COSTCO and its affiliates at every chance I get. I will let the world know of how they treat injured, disabled veterans, and refuse to grant access to ATMs or services located inside their buildinbgs, to non members. Thank you for your lack of service to our...
Read moreReally nice theater on the inside with nice comfy chairs that recline. The audio and screen were excellent. The concession stand felt pretty slow and crowded on our way in, so if you want concessions you'll want to plan a little extra time to be sure you can get into the movie without any trouble. As best I could tell they don't have any water fountains, which really bothered me because I assume it was a ploy to force people to go buy an expensive drink at the concession stand rather than having a free swallow of water. Also, buyer beware because the fees if you feel like you need to buy your ticket online in advance are rather extravagant. I was out of town and head to buy for a big group and make sure we had seats for a movie that was filling up. I had to pay about $4 for each $7.51 ticket for three...
Read moreHas the new movie theater with the seats that shake with the movie. Costco, Bass Pro, and Wal-Mart are also here along with a few other smaller stores. The layout is a bit strange since the tree has that roundabout around it, but that's leftover from the original Fallschase neighborhood(which was a really really cool place btw). IMHO, the hill above Costco is STILL the best place to go to watch the July 4th fireworks show from Tom Brown Park and avoid the crowds. I'm sure that as soon as they finish the whole shopping center and add all the housing/apartments that were planned, the strange parking lot and layout will all make sense somehow. I do wish that they could have figured out how to continue to have the hot air balloon festival in Fallschase...
