So I have two major complaints about this store. One the hours are always wrong, sometimes it's closed on Sunday, sometimes like today when it's supposed to be open at 12:00 it's not open till like 12:50 maybe 1, but I can forgive that, life happens. My second complaint is more of an egregious one. So games workshop does a minature of the month. That's supposedly they give out for free. The Columbia store and the Charlotte store give these out for free no problems they even offer them I don't have to ask or beg. Multiple times over the past year and recently I have been in that store to get the miniature of the month. Every single time I have to bring it up ask for it and get a confused look. Most of the time I've been asked to make purchases of at least $20 to get the free miniature of the month. I brought my son in one time last year, I got my miniature of the month in order for him to get his own I had to buy a separate purchase on top of the one I already made, just so he could get one. He's 13 at the time. At no point has anyone ever offered me one either I have had to beg bring it up and ask specifically. I've been given old miniatures. Mini of the month for like a year ago from the time I came in. Over 6 months, I was given two of the starter miniatures, as mini of the month, and 3 of the same thing for the same miniature. The poor experience I had with just the mini of the month alone cause me to drive 2 hours to get to the one in Columbia, as I have never had a problem with them. When I first started out this store, helped me absolutely none. And even as I've been painting for like 8 months still nothing. The picture of were people...
Read moreA great place for Warhammer: 40,000 and Age of Sigmar merchandise. Friendly and experienced owner. Super nice and helpful.
I don't want to take a star off but there have been several times now that I go there and nobody's there, regardless of the hours.
Thanks to the Congo Corona, you now can't even go into the store. Well, you can step through the door, but you can't browse. I go to a store when I want to browse. If I knew exactly what I was gonna buy, I'd order it online. Plus I don't have telescopes for eyes so I can't see labels and prices throughout the store. Yeah the owner said he'd get something if I want to look at it, but are we gonna do that for like ten items? Really?
Again, the owner is great, but he's like the only worker. And these restrictions...
Read moreWent here ready to jump feet first into 40k. When I entered the doors I was not greeted or acknowledged. I found a man sitting behind a table painting miniatures. When I asked if he worked there he grunted. I asked for some help picking out a good starter set of models and paints. I was then told that this wasn’t for me if I didn’t already know what I wanted. I left before the interaction could become worse than it already was. This all happened after I waited over three days to finally be able to enter the store. Each time I would go by during business hours the store would be closed. I am unsure as to how the store stays open if the only employee seems to be so unwilling to...
