I tried this stand after trying all the produce from all the grocery stores in the area and their produce letting me down in expiration/freshness, as well as flavor. I was not disappointed with George’s Farm Market.
The staff were very friendly, the produce looked way better than the grocery store’s, the peaches and pears I bought were amazing and so sweet, and the green beans are still fresh and crisp in my fridge after a week+.
The woman told me they recently started carrying fresh cow’s cheese, so I’m excited to come back and do some more shopping! I’ve been trying to shop local when I can, and don’t see any reason not to support this business. It’s also conveniently down the street...

She even said " we are second generation farmers this is not our first day." After asking if anything is grow in a greenhouse and getting a belittling answer of how things are grown. I recently bought an urban farm and will be looking for local fruit because we are also zoned as a Winery. Our farm is to small to produce all we will need. Read moreI love George's Farm Market! I've been getting my produce there every summer for 15 years since I moved to the Parkville area. Their produce is always fresh and delicious. I love a good juicy tomato sandwich with fresh tomatoes from George's . Their corn-on-the-cob is hands-down the sweetest, most tender variety, never starchy or tough.I've picked it up at other farm markets from time to time and it's never as good as George's.
