Great Wall Supermarket — Attraction in Rosemead

The best place to go and feel at home IF YOU ARE ASIAN!!! otherwise stay away from this rude and careless employees with no respect to the customers nor interests in helping anyone who's not Asian or don't speak their language. And good luck finding out the things you want, because none of their products have any translation whatsoever, not to mention that many of the employees don't speak a word in English, "you are in America people!!!” because like I said, they don't care about anyone who's not from their own country or speak their language. Zero customer service and probably the worst in this area. If business were approved for their customer service and attention to the people, this business wouldn't be in business at all. Unfortunately you can't report a business like this to the city. But like I said, if you are Asian and you speak their language, and you don't care about how rude they are in general, well, that's the perfect place to shop for you. ;) Not to mention that they don't accept returns. So, whatever you bought, make sure it is the thing you wanted or liked. Because you will have 3 options if you didn't like it nor wanted at the end of the day.. One, you either throw it away to the trash, or give it to someone else in your family or friends, or use it whether you like it or not. Its been my favorite place to shop until today i met a very rude employee talking like bossy which is only vegetable dept employee. I grab some of the plastic bag to prepare get some vegetable for my party tomorrow , and guess wht he said? He said you can’t take some bag, you can take it when you get vegetable, if you want some you have to pay, and i reply,oh so we have to pay now? Ok, how much ?? Maybe 1$ its fine?? and he said NO! $10, i reply wait,wht? And he said a roll of plastic bag. And i told him that i don’t need a roll,i only need some for my veggie later. And he reply so rudely “i don’t care what you want to said or your excuses,i don’t want to hear.just $10 pay in the front.” And he go to the back, I was waiting in front door of dept cuz i need to know his name, and he didn’t tell me. And he said “are you having crush on me? ,and come close like want to fight, its make me even more mad and so upset, how come this guy with bad attitude can work in a company,just work somewhere else that is no contact with ppl!!

I was shopping today at this market and I saw the cashier number 8 being rude to a customer. She was yelling at the customer in a high-toned voice and providing bad service. I heard that the cashier refused to give the customer the big, white plastic bags. The employee was yelling at them and taking away their produce plastic bags. The cashiers only give the big, white plastic bags for 10 cents. The employees gossip to each other in Vietnamese and don't care about customers. The NUMBER 8 CASHIER is very rude. The seafood is rotten and the vegetables are not fresh once you come home. The prices are expensive. The employees are cheap and will give you small, clear plastic bags for free which is not strong to carry. These clear small plastic bags are not strong and the food will drop. The manager never stays in the store and run away whenever there's problem. Other supermarkets are nice to customers and will give strong, big white plastic bags to everybody.
