Staying at this place was, interesting. To start, the TV only had three of four channels that you could actually watch. The other 50 or so channels were mostly news stations for foreign countries that you would never watch. I remember seeing CBS, ABC and the History Channel. The other three rooms that were booked with our group didn't have their TVs working at all. The bed spreads had weird stains on it. Did come with sheets, just a comforter. The mini fridge wobbled, didn't have any shelves, had some weird stains in the bottom of it, and had rust in it. The toilet was crooked and would continue to run after you flushed it. The bathroom door had some weird stain on the door. There was also about a half inch of space between the bottom of the front door and the floor. That allowed a lot of extra noise in. The phone on the night stand didn't work. I guess it was just there for show. And this was the case across the board for all four hotel rooms that we had booked. We were in rooms 306, 307, 308, and 309. Wouldn't recommend staying here. There definitely could be worse places to stay, which is why I'm giving...
Read moreIt's a complete Chinese tour service, owned and ran by ChineseThis place is a total joke, poor service, no English on stafff, no breakfast for the American people, very rude, we were threatened by manager when we told them they are not doing what should be done, we were blamed for damage to a sheet and was told we would be charged for it, which did not happen, we put a review of the place while we were still there and committed to the stay, and then was treated even worse, we were told if we take it down we would get a refund of stay and not be charged for the sheet in which we did not damage!!! We took bad review down but never received a refund, I blocked my card so they could not access it, never one time did they do room service, had to go to office for all needs!!!! Pool dirty , Chinese tourists were loud and would stand by the door every morning and wake us up!!!! I suggest you stay far away from this business!!!! It don't deserve...
Read moreThe only nice thing about Bokai is the price, and the phrase “you get what you pay for” proves itself again. When we entered the room there were stains on lampshades and the mattresses. However, no bed bugs! The floor was never swept, crumbs and chips on AC unit and on the floor everywhere. I had to ask to vacuum and for towels and was told at one point they were out of towels. I’m glad that my friends and I were able to laugh at this response, I know that others may not think this would be as funny. Staff were nice but the cleaning staff seem lazy and would take towels away when replacing with new ones, leaving less than what we said we needed. When we needed 4 they would take 3 and replace with 2. I would book again due to the safe-ish area of Rosemead and proximity to boba shops and restaurants, not anything related to the...
