Breakfast in this hotel is good, we stayed for 3 days and the lady in the cafe change the meat differently daily and it’s a plus for us, she is very attentive, the basic breakfast all you need they have it. They have fruits, coffee, milk, juices, cereals, pancake (you make your own) and a lot more, just don’t expect Hilton type fancy breakfast. The shower is really great hot water is hot love it and strong pressure! The pressure is strong and the toilet is updated. They just need to fix the toilet paper holder since it’s rusted. They have a pool but was not informed we didn’t used it since we are busy with our LA travel. There are a lot of Chinese tour bus staying this hotel. They gave you slippers to wear and bathtub an A+. They have limited parking space, the whole time I was there I’d always able to get a parking space which is a plus and the space is a great size for a full dive SUV, the parking are all outside around the hotel. incase you run out of space across the street the massive parking space of the gyms fitness’s not sure if it’s ok to park there. I was booked for 4 days in this hotel. The lobby and hallway downstairs has a funky smell, the room Aircondition is cold but at night seems not right it’s not cold enough. We tried to turn on the heating one time, the heat emitted from the unit an awful disgusting smell, my kids almost vomited, my suggestion don’t turn it on. The front desk staff when they answer the phone is like answering a call from the hood, not like the fancy hotel chain with courtesy and welcoming tone of voice but for my taste it’s ok I’m not bothered, I think they just need proper customer service in answering phone call. The bed is good and sturdy love it, we requested additional pillows and they are happy to provided but the pillows fibers inside are curled and lumped thus it’s hard to laid your head or place it between legs, the good thing I can use about this pillow is for hugging since love pillow to hug. The pillows in the room is not comfy enough. They charge you $100 dollars for incase you smoke in the room. Now waiting if they refund the money since I don’t smoke. I don’t know why people still smoke since a lot of people died from smoking due to Lung Cancer or other related smoking diseases. The check out was a swift like the check in. All rooms are non smoking. The elevator is on the slow side ( need to press multiple times) take a while good our room in the second floor very close to the staircase so lucky. The great hidden gems of this hotel is very close (across the street ) the big mall like target, Ross, Starbucks, bubba tea, panda, fish and chips grill, 99$, Dave’s famous chicken and a lot more. If you want to visit Universal Hollywood and Hollywood boulevard for the walk of stars this place is far and possibility encounter of traffic is very high. For the past days (Friday to Monday) I was there and every time we traveled to LA has there usual...
Read moreOkay, we just stayed here last week. The hotel has only been open a month; and Google is showing the exterior as a construction site. But if you're a traveler looking for a central location (not a view) in LA, this is it. It is within throwing distance of the 10 freeway... but, you barely hear a hush in the rooms. The Great-- We got a huge 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite with an entryway and a little sitting area, for less that what we were paying for one room at a Hilton Garden Inn. I can tell you there is nothing better than being able to close the door on one's 3 kids, and then have a room alone with your spouse.
The room was immaculate, the sheets and towels practically glowed white. The AC was great as were the beds. The continental breakfast was at least on par with other hotel chains; and included some uniquely Rosemead items: congee and tea eggs.
Best of all, the staff were gracious, friendly, helpful, and looked happy to be there. Giselle and Grace were particularly helpful to us.
The Good-- The water was initially cold, but it was fixed. Cable shows Showtime. The have a laundry service, but not on-site machines. Parking is fine. And I saw lots of cameras that made me feel my vehicle and person were secure.
The OK-- So, there's no pool or fitness room. And the ice machines were still on order (very new hotel). There is a Target and restaurant options in walking distance. But there's a lot of traffic. It's not a hotel to leave for a stroll.
Sum it up-- How does a family of 5 stay relaxed, on-budget, and in driving distance of pretty much everything in LA (10 FWY/Rosemead Blvd.) for 8...
Read moreOur group (26 families from the same school for a tournament trip) stayed here this last weekend (1/13-1/14 mostly)
I was actually quite nervous (because I am doing it for all 26 families) when I first signed the group contract with Stanley, the GM of this hotel. But he made it so easy for me during the contract negotiations and rooming/nights adjustments.
Everyone enjoyed their staying. Breakfast served early because Stanley knew our tournaments schedule. The lady serving the food is a superhero. She monitors all supplies very closely and very gently backfill them without interrupting guests. They never ran out of any kinds of food during the time I eat there 😊.
Hotel smells good (this is very important to me) and it’s in a quite area but with extremely easy access to freeways. Room is very clean; beds are comfortable (beds are smaller than queen size -Stanley told us before we booked). My husband is very picky on hotel beds but confirmed that the beds are good. Front desk is professional and Rolando made us feel like we had known each other for a long time.
I peeked into the large laundry room and saw hardworking ladies there doing laundries. The laundry room looks tidy so I know our sheets are clean 👌.
The hotel doesn’t have a gym onsite and the associated gym is right next door. It looks great but my husband decided not to go because of the on and off heavy rain.
I have not received any negative feedbacks from anyone...
