Went to the county fair. Parking is reasonable at $5, but the parking spots are hard to get unless you come early. They definitely need a bigger parking area considering the amount of people that show up. The fairgrounds are set up nicely with the rides in the back, animals in the front and the demolition derby. Surprisingly the pit is a decent size with plenty of spectator seating and also a lawn area. The livestock area is nice as well, you can walk around to look at all the animals or sit and watch the auction. The rides and food are typically carnival stuff. Every once in a while you will see a legit food truck and catch the flavors of non deep fried food....

Lots of tents and buildings to explore the vendors and crafts, large Midway with lots of games and rides plus a ton of fair food-classic vendor options but also lots of local groups to support. There's lots to do and see but we always grab cheap milkshakes and free popcorn in the Farm Bureau building, beaver tails sold by the Optimist Club, then head to the Midway for 25¢ mouse game. This is a fair that's provides good family fun for everyone and it doesn't have to cost much...but it can if you want to do and eat...
Read moreI find it incredibly offensive being told that everyone had to find another RV park to go to because they are closing for the winter and then turn around and allow one person to continue to rent a campsite regardless of whatever reason. I'm sure it was inconvenient for many ppl to have to search for somewhere else to go, since I now am an hr away from where I work and they refuse to rent anyone else a site. It's discrimination to make exceptions! Either allow everyone to to rent a campsite or allow no one. It's unacceptable and I bet a judge will agree when I file...
