Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Franklin

Pizza was excellent but the service was terrible. I went to pick up my order and the guy at the counter was looking for a few minutes and seemed kinda worried. He couldn't find the order and said one of the delivery drivers must have taken it by accident. He told me the delivery drivers aren't famous for reading labels. I wish they were famous for that so they wouldn't take the wrong orders.

Anyway he offered me a half hearted apology and said it would be at least 15 minutes for the new order. I was internally upset but didn't show it too much. So I went home because I live close and that was a mistake because my kids were super disappointed that I didn't have the pizza. Lesson learned there but I digress.

So I go to pick up my order and it doesn't have all the sauces I ordered and the same guy from before helped me and he seemed annoyed and when he gave me the pizza he said there you go. I said thanks, but I feel like another apology was in order. I worked restaurants and pizza places for many years so I know mistakes are made but I would have been very apologetic. I wasn't rude at all. Very calm and understanding. Not the biggest deal in the world but there were a few angry customers there who had messed up orders too. Maybe it was just a fluke but won't return...

Typical Papa John's pizza. It's not my favorite but it is above average. My only real complaint about this one is the way the drive thru was operated. We pulled up and my order wasn't ready. The kid said I could sit there and wait but if somebody pulled up I should pull around so the next customer could be helped. After about 5 minutes another car pulled behind me so I immediately left the drive thru and drove around to get back in line. When I got around there were 2 cars ahead of me now. Here is where my complaint is... we sat like that for a solid 5+ minutes, no movement, just waiting. The car at the window should have been advised to pull around but apparently was not given the same instructions that I was given. The next car went through the same process. Several minutes of waiting with little to no action at the window. When I finally got back up to the window, the kid seemed surprised that I was back and quickly gathered my order to pass it to me. I realize I'm complaining about first world problems waiting 10 extra minutes for pizza but when I'm told it will be ready at a certain time and then I have to wait longer due to poor organization at the window I'm not going to be...

To Start off with my pizza was Lukewarm at best i ordered the big Papa pizza which is supposed to be an extra large. By the way, it's not an extra large. It's just a large cut into smaller pieces Pizza with bread sticks and 3 cheeses somehow came out to 37 dollars I asked Why did the pizza come out ten dollars more than what I was Originally told she said due to taxes and a five dollar tip She said pizza would be here in 25 to 35 minutes so 45 minutes later My pizza shows up lukewand the Delivery driver hands me the receipt I sign it hand it back and he literally looks at me and says are you Going to tip so i give him 5 more bucks! A BIG WASTE OF 42 DOLLARS AND I WILL NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN...
