We've always been pleased with our local DQ. Today's visit was a slightly different experience than normal. It appeared as if they had troubles with their drive thru intercom system. So there was a young man standing in the drive thru lane by the menu taking orders as cars approach. It was your typical miserable 90 degree day and here he stands in the hot sun, mask on, taking customers orders. Not only am I giving this man kudos for standing in the sun (although my hatred for the heat is more than enough to have stopped there) but the ordering process itself was the quickest I've seen at a drive thru. He seemingly had our items punched into the tablet and ready for the next part of our order before we could even finish naming the current item. Seriously if any DQ managment actually reads these reviews and can figure out who they had outside on August 29th at noon, give that man a...
Read moreWe had an absolutely great time this evening as a family at Dairy Queen! The customer service was excellent with every staff member we encountered. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a mistake with our order but it was quickly fixed and they gave us coupons as well (totally wasn't necessary but appreciated). Food was served hot and fresh. To top it off, they were slammed because it was free cone day. If this is the service you get on one of their busiest days of the year, I have no problems recommending Dairy Queen in Franklin to anyone.
We don't eat out a ton so we haven't been to this restaurant often. However, we will definitely be returning again soon. We were that pleased with the service.
Also, family night is every Wednesday night. Great way to feed the whole family and get dessert for a...
Read moreThe food is almost always perfect. The speed of the drive-thru is very impressive compared to the other fast-food in Franklin. My only complaint is they have a manager that likes to talk in an extremely over the top fake voice while he tries to add extra things onto your order without you asking. Last time I got him taking my order of a 4-piece Chicken basket, he tells me that my fry will be a large. This extra charge I did not ask for, but he felt okay assuming I wanted. He also said, "And what do you want for your large drink?". It does not come with a drink, nor did I ask for any drink. Im fine with trying to upsell. I get it. However, its rude and dirty business to phrase it as something that comes with the order. I shouldnt have to argue with someone to get a simple...
