THE FINAL BOSS OF GUITAR SHOPS — KAT’S GUITARS I walked in for a peek and left ready to start a band and a militia. This place is like if a rock concert, an action movie, and a fever dream had a baby and raised it on adrenaline and distortion pedals.
Guitars? WALLS OF THEM. Axes that scream, croon, and cry out for a solo. I strummed a Les Paul and forgot my entire credit score. Then I turned around and—BOOM—GUNS. Shotguns. Revolvers. Things that go bang and make you feel like a cowboy rockstar out for revenge in a Tarantino flick.
One corner’s a pedalboard paradise, the next is a Second Amendment shrine. I held a Gretsch in one hand and a 1911 in the other, and for a second, time stopped. Felt like I should be riding into the sunset on a Harley made of amps.
Staff? Absolute legends. They’ll help you string up a Strat or break down a bolt-action like it’s no big deal. No pressure, no weird energy—just straight-up cool humans who know their stuff.
This ain’t just a pawn shop — it’s a temple of tone and tactical energy. I’d trade my grandma’s wedding ring again just to hang out.

Read moreAVOID AT ALL COSTS for guitar repairs. Took a Strat in for a basic setup - ended up with parts installed without my consent. When asked about the unintended modification, the manager proceeded to lecture me and defend their actions, with no concern shown for what I wanted on my own guitar. Even if the parts were necessary (they weren't), I was not consulted or notified beforehand. Had they simply called before making irreparable changes, I would have declined. Somehow, I was even charged for their work. Now, I have a custom built neck with unnecessary holes drilled into the headstock that they are unable, or unwilling, to correct. As it stands, I have two options: (1) find a competent tech to fix their mistake and refinish the neck, at significant expense, or (2) leave the unwanted holes in the headstock as a reminder to never set foot in Kats Guitars again. If you value your instrument, find a more qualified shop that offers even the bare minimum of respect to their...
Read moreAwesome! Place to go for guitar tech have very knowledgeable guitar texts that work there! I highly recommend this location. They have accessories more than guitar center. Does they even have deals better than guitar center? They even have pickups, guitars and pedals that guitar center does not have new and used. Very fair on prices. They're pedals when you buy them. They're like brand new. Can't even tell they're used. I've been coming to this place for over 2 years and I'm never displeased or unhappy. They're very patient with you. The staff is professional, courteous and if you buy certain items you can get discounts on them! They sell acoustic guitars electric 6 string 7-in string stuff for drums. The list just goes on and on. If you need something for your guitar right now and don't feel like waiting to go online to order it, just call the store or stop on by more than likely...
