Le Hair Salon — Attraction in Doral

I never leave reviews - I've probably only left maybe a few in my life but I keep getting emails to leave a reviews for this place after getting my hair cut. The reviews are great for some reason which is why I chose this place. Upon entering, not a single employee spoke English which baffled me because it's the United States. Luckily a nice customer was bilingual and translated for me. I just wanted a simple wash and trim. I don't remember the guys name but he was very violent washing my hair and it felt like he was pulling hairs out. I've never had a painful hair wash in my life. Then he started to blow dry and cut it. It looked fine from the front but after going home I looked at it more and it was really choppy and uneven in the back. I ended up going to another salon and she was amazed at how badly my hair was cut. I blame myself for going through with my appointment after realizing nobody spoke english. I'm still trying to figure out why the reviews are so good if my haircut was so bad? I hate leaving bad reviews as want to support small businesses but I really do not recommend this place if you are someone who only speaks English. First time ever bringing my artist here. These guys are COVID-19 READY! They were very professional welcoming us into the store. Right of the bat they checked our temperature. After, they attended my artist and got into details about her hair. Covid wise, these guys take it very seriously and want the customer to feel safe and comfortable.

From temperature check, providing hand sanitizer and even they have a machine that destroy any germs that may be on your phone, car keys, etc. All of their items are sealed in a bag (this means it has been clean and sanitize and other that it hasn't been used yet). The seat are well wrapped (areas that your skin may come into contact). When washing your hair, the area where your neck is rested - is as well wrapped. After my artist is done, I did notice another staff cleaning and sanitizing the area. These staff here at Le Hair Salon are very professional and clean.

If I could give 0, I would. I purchased a Groupon to try out the salon as I need a new place to go weekly. I followed instructions and called in advance, requested service and told the person answering that it was going to be my first time and I'd be using Groupon. SHE chose the technitian because I didn't know any of them. I arrived 15 mins early and when I presented the voucher I was told that that particular tech didn't "do" Groupon. The tech that does Groupon was off. The owner then advised me that the person who made the appointment is very reliable and NEVER makes mistakes. Regardless, I was there, the salon was empty and the technitian told me she'd take me but not using the Groupon. I gave me the impression that this was a way to upsell their services. It was VERY unprofessional and I left the salon. They'd rather lose a potential weekly client than accept the fact that their receptionist made a mistake. I won't be going there as...
