Cuban Guys Restaurants - Flagler — Restaurant in Doral

Let's give credit and applause to people who deserve the delicacy to cook and carefully make each dish of food they prepare. This place is not my favorite 100% there are days when the food tastes good and there are days when the food simply disappoints. Monday at 8pm I ordered my food as usual after work, I was very hungry and this place is one of my options because it is close to my house but as I mentioned before it has already disappointed me at night when I arrive home hungry and order food and it tastes bad. I decided to give it a fifth chance and they did not disappoint me the food tasted good and was still hot even though my delivery was delayed by another order, good presentation and the flavor was the best. I am critical about food but I do not like to discredit places and when they deserve 5 stars I make it public and I hope this place has some supervision of its cooks. I understand that they may have a new cook but it is impossible to guess when the right person is in the kitchen I called the restaurant but they didn't answer. All this was yesterday, today however was not the same.

DO NOT GET FOOD DELIVERED FROM HERE!!

-CUBAN SANDWICH NOT EDIBLE!! Tasted bad! Not very much meat, lacked true cuban flavor. The sandwich was soggy and not crispy on the outside. The sandwich wasn’t even flattened the way the sandwich should be. This was not a true cuban sandwich at all. -Ordered the crispy chicken salad. Asked for no onions....there were onions all on top of the tomatoes. Three paper thin slices of tomatoes. Two or three spoonfuls of corn and a container full of lettuce. There was no salad dressing provided. -Plaintain chips were overcooked and burnt. They were not edible. I have to wonder who is in the kitchen today. -The ham croquettes had no flavor. I had to throw them out along with the rest of the food from this delivery -Are all delivery customers subjected to what should not be called food!! In addition why is that places that deliver food neglect to put any eating utensils with the orders? Wish I could get back all my money for the...

I've eaten at Cuban Guys multiple times without any issues, walked into the Flagler location expecting the same results. Not so fast, this is a newer location and some what smaller, after ordering I stood by the front counter waiting, there were people sitting on either side of me, considering all the restrictions I assumed this would be the best place for me, again not so fast, a guy with an obvious attitude problem walked from the kitchen to tell me in a rather aggressive manner not to stand there. I don't know if he was having a bad night, and I actually don't care, a crash course in manners is in order.
