Massage Maxx — Attraction in Buford

I purchased a 60 minute massage with essential oil & hot stone off Groupon. I’m always skeptical about the quality on Groupon purchases but this did Not disappoint!! I arrived early because a lot of massage places make you fill out paperwork showing any areas don’t want touched, where pain is, etc.; however, there was only a temperature check & sign in. There wasn’t anyone else there so I was able to start early. Lisa was AMAZING!! I upgraded to deep tissue and she used her elbows & forearms and really got the knots out. She was respectful and asked if the pressure was ok and if I was cold. I was happy she let me pick the scent of my essential oil (orange) because lavender and eucalyptus give me headaches and that’s what most places automatically use. She even let me smell it first to make sure it was ok. A warm towel was used at the end to get off any oils. Very relaxing massage. I did hear a door bell go off at some point and she left the room to go check. She quickly returned but it might be safer to keep the door locked when she is the only Employee there and in a room with a client for security reasons. Water was provided at the end. After getting shut out by Massage Envy after arriving back from a long west coast trip, I opened Google and searched for an alternative massage location and was excited when the first location on the list, Massage Maxx, had countless, 5-star reviews.

I called and spoke to Emily who had an opening at 710pm and I booked it, only 40 minutes before my visit.

From the moment we met until we said goodbye, Emily was amazing - professional, kind, empathetic, highly skilled and finely tuned to ensuring my experience was amazing.

Emily was my massage therapist and her technique and attention to every subtle movement across my stressed and twisted back was 100% in the moment and amazingly effective - she is very, very skilled and gives her all to making the experience pleasurable but also highly effective - I felt SO MUCH BETTER after my visit.

Was feeling rather stressed and needed help getting my body to relax. Figured I try a full body massage. This was my first visit, and I was made to feel very welcome. Even from the beginning, I felt like I was in good hands. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the massage was enough to help me feel as though I was a million miles away from the stressors I have in my life right now. The staff had the keen ability of putting me at ease and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit for the massage. The hour went by quicker than I would have liked, so I plan to return as soon as another opportunity will allow.
