Be very careful with this company. Our Service Agreement stated $150. security deposit + $45. transfer fee. Total $195. I set-up auto pay and this was confirmed via e-mail. I was checking weekly for a bill and nothing. Around day 30 of actual service I get a red notice on my door with a warning to pay my bill. I call and I am told that I owe a $287.00 deposit and that's why I received the red notice on my door. I told her that I never received my first bill and asked how I would have known to pay this "deposit" ahead of time. I also questioned why the deposit is now $287. vs. $150. + $45. Per my service agreement. She sarcastically goes on about how the deposit can be prepaid or on your first bill and that I am wrong about the amount of the deposit. I ask how I would have know that they changed my deposit to prepaid without an email or a letter and again nothing but sarcasm about reading my service agreement. They don’t send emails or notices AT ALL. Called to pay immediately to get it back on when I realized what occurred, and was on hold an hour. I explained to them that I had no access to the bill and didn’t get a warning, I had no way of knowing. They don’t care. Offered no payment plan or assistance. Then they literally robbed me of $350 in “just because fees” ON TOP of the bill just to reconnect. I was forced to pay $600 on the spot which is absurd. They couldn’t even tell me where the $350 was going. Then after the payment was made, I was transferred back to customer service and placed on hold a very long time again to request a reconnection. I just got my monthly bill & I was charged for last month's bill, $25 return check, late fees, and the usual month's charges. I have my duplicate check & my checking account that shows my check cleared about one week before the due date! The rep I spoke with on the phone said one thing after another & I proved to her each time that my account was accurate. I asked to speak with her supervisor but she was "on another line" so I requested that she call me back. I will call again if the super does not. This company is trying to weasel another $70 from me for their mistakes!! I will NOT pay this and this company needs to work honestly with its customers.
